"My husband and I celebrated a special occasion during our skiing holiday and decided to try L'Ekrin. We selected the tasting menu and it was an interesting experience. Some of the courses were excellent, others seemed to be more about the presentation than the taste....Service was very slow at the beginning of our meal, which took nearly 4 hours in total but we thought it was worth the wait. The service was impeccable and the wine pairings were imaginative and well presented by the sommelier. It is always expensive eating well in a resort such as Meribel, but the cost here makes this definitely a special occasion restaurant for most people."

"An address in a station where prices remain affordable, especially on the pizza card. The disappointment, however, is due to the quality of the savoyard specialties for which the addition rises from a wan. (it takes 25€/person to share where the amount of potatoes seems to be rationed)In summary: a correct address to pick up or come and enjoy a pizza on the return of the tracks. do not wait for anything on the merchant side of the conservator."

"We came to eat on evolution on August 14, 2017 , the reception was very good, the staff speaks English but also speaks French. for the meal, we ordered the burgers "bad boys" and "bull" burgers, we were not disappointed, a huge burger with a salad and homemade fries, which becomes rare nowadays, were excellent. The value for money is good 17€ for a burger of this size, it is not the flight. I recommend this restaurant if you pass on merebel."

"Tucked away in meribel village, this place is a real little gem! The fondue was so tasty, probably one of the best I've had. The waitress who was working was wonderful and smiley and we even got génépi for free! Definitely worth the detour!"

"Went down to Scott's for our chalet night off, mainly to fuel up for a night out. First off, we were seated within minutes, and the staff were very friendly. We ordered drinks, and my girlfriend had a really good espresso Martini, whereas I started with a craft beer (nice to break the Amstel routine). We ate some tender and saucy chicken wings (not overly spicy, and not drowning in sauce) and some crispy onion rings to start. After that, I ordered a bacon, brie, and cranberry burger that came with a fat stack of chips and loads of salad. The burger was really well made, not at all over-seasoned, and the bacon was crispy and salty (rather than the limp, flabby stuff some places serve). The table was cleared quickly after we finished, and the bill was very reasonable, given Meribel's ever-increasing price tag. Another round of drinks to finish, and we were away. We even ended up coming back for the open mic night on Friday, which was packed, and had a lovely buzz about it. I can definitely recommend for a couple looking to dodge the 'fondue and tartiflette' options that most places seem to have."
