"Came for a late lunch, so it was pretty quiet. The food came out in about five minutes. We ordered the chicken chips and chips. Both were freshly cooked and delicious!! The staff was professional and friendly. Come back here."

"My partner and I decided to order lunch from here today and it was the worst experience ever. Last time we ate from here it was great, something has definitely happened. To make things worse they didn't have anymore tofu in the restaurant!!! No tofu in an Asian restaurant!!! Will not be coming back or ordering from here again."

"Menu options are great, a little towards high but average pricing. Food though, everything has Punjabi touch to it, ordered dosa, which was crisp and good but came with a very different chutney. And BEWARE chat has different options, I ordered a normal samosa chat, turned out its just samosa with chutneys on it, there is a different chola samosa chat . Not bad, could give a try but they need a little improvement on tastes. May b I will try other menu options,as they have a huge range."

"My late parents knew the owners well for several years and I was introduced to them in the mid 1990s. Previously they maintained separate restaurants - one was strictly for vegetarians and the other was for other diners where they served non vegetarian dishes. I think they just have one outlet now, which is well located in Liverpool City Centre, which offers both options.I have eaten here on a few occasions over the years and had no hesitation in approaching the owner Prakash to cater for my late's father's Wake a couple of months ago.Prakash did a really good job - we needed snacks as the Wake was scheduled for around 4.30pm and he provided an assortment of Indian snacks such as Samosas and Pakoras, as well as Mini Pizzas and Cake.The Wake was attended by close to 100 people and the food quality was complimented. Not too much left .....Woodlands offers quality North and South Indian cuisine which is reasonably priced. It permits BYO."

"Great steak! Had the 500g Tbone and was completely middle. Risotto was average. The pork ribs were delicate, but very disappointing, had to be pulled apart and possibly fall into another sauce. Nice and family friendly. Good service."

"Ordered the yellow curry, beef salad, mixed entre and BBQ beef, and was happy with our food. The whole experience was ruined when they decided to serve old reheated rice which had a mushy consistency. I asked the waitress for "fresh" rice only to be brought the same left over rice. THIS had already happened once when I went out for lunch with friends. Will not be give them the chance to serve me rice I would not even have at home again."

"Came here to pick up some garlic dip. Paid $4 for a small container that was fine till we got home and found the container a quarter full, seriously the restaurant is full nearly everyday... fill your containers your not going to lose much!!! Treat your customers like you would like to be treated."
