"After a friendly and chatty welcome, we ordered our usual fare when in restaurants of this genre: Chicken sweet corn soup, lemon chicken, sizzling Mongolian beef, chicken satay skewers, and a 'break loose, hang onto your hat, people' dish of garlic scallops. Serving sizes were generous. The beef had a smoky flavor and less heat than we are used to, but was tender and tasty. The lemon chicken had just enough vibrant sauce, and was gobbled up by our four year old. The skewers were also large and we fought over the sauce. Lots of scallops and veggies in a mild garlic sauce rounded things off. Decor was plain but the food took centre stage. Two takeaway containers required for the bits we couldn't squeeze in, and couldn't possibly leave behind! Thank you!"

"This is the best Indian food you will ever eat with their lamb or chicken korma being sensational. Their goat curries are excellent too. Best as a takeaway venue as the dining room is small."

"We last ate here about 2 years ago and everything was very good so when some friends chose this restaurant we were really looking forward to the same standard.Unfortunately things seemed to have changed dramatically.For starters the service was very light on. It felt like one staff member was looking after the whole restaurant on a Saturday night. Drink service - we got water straight away but it took a long time for anyone to ask about any other drinks and when the bottle of red was brought to the table it was plonked in the middle and that was that!Table setting - very small paper napkin (would get better at a fast food restaurant) and only one set of cutlery for entrée and mains with no serving cutlery for the antipasto share platter. Food - the entrée platter we had was ok, the sliced leg ham was out of place - maybe they were running short on variety. Main course I had the oven baked chicken breast with chorizo - flavour was ok but just the initial "look" of the dish was a little average to say the least. My partner had the scaloppine al funghi - asked how she wanted it cooked which is a little unusual considering the thickness of the meat. Again nothing wrong with the dish but nothing special.The desert menu consisted of items from the cake cabinet and a few options on the actual menu. We shared the cassata - quite grainy with some coulis squirted over the top.Won't be heading back anytime soon - disappointed."
