"There are certain quarters that have taken long time to shake off their call for bad eating. at a time covent garden was the culinary wasteland, full of gimmicky tourist traps and bella pastas and not much else where it would land through infall, never for purpose, poking glumly in a pasta penne, while someone arguing opera at them. now we have 10 cases, flesh buns, hawksmoor, opera tavern, 32 great queen street and soon margot by ex bar boulud paulo de tarso come, surely definitiw the prove that this is countervailing."

"Beautiful location and good music, but shame about customer service. was calculated £6.40 for two pints of black johannisbeer cordial and sodawater, which spent £1 for the same drink that was previously in henley. a drink that had just bought him and they made us pay for another one I thought was mean."

"After I was drawn from west london, where I knew all the right curry sites, I struck gold near lemongras. I visited last night and had the 4 court banquet for £12. eating was incredible, very fresh and tasty. the personal has made a great effort. the decor is clean and simple, it is the food that speaks; it is good and as a bonus its incredible worth. we had a jalfrezi, the cook special chicken dish, bombay alloo, saag bhaji and a side of rice and garlauch naan."

"Delicious food with some interesting dishes on the menu. Food was attractively presented and wasn’t at all oily. We enjoyed the best onion bhajis we’ve ever had! Service was friendly and the restaurant interior is very clean and comfortable. Delhi Junction is my new go-to restaurant in Maidenhead for a great curry. Highly recommended."

"I ordered twice from veganushi and I love her to eat. it always tastes super, as well as fresh and non-fat. her nudels and curry are my favorite and the limette, matcha and mint cheesecake is exceptional (I have tried a lot) it is also really nice to see a vegan business in such a conservative area."

"I had attended a family do at lunch through to tea and decided to stay at the hotel, with dinner in the restaurant. Fortunately the meal was included in my room rate as I wouldn't have been happy paying for it. There was a menu in my room so that I could decide on my meal in advance. This arrangement naturally only works if the menu in the room is the same as what is being served in the restaurant, which it wasn't. Having had an entirely carnivorous lunch I thought I should balance my intake by choosing a vegetarian dinner. The sole vegetarian dishes did not appeal so using the restaurant's menu I chose goat cheese mouse followed by pan fried duck breast. I didn't really know what to expect from my starter. It was quite pleasant as a one off but not to be repeated. The duck breast consisted of two fingers of medium rare duck with soggy skin and about 10 grams of vegetables. Discarding the skin the meal was very nice but no help at all in helping me reach my recommended vegetable intake. According to the NHS I should eat at least 5 portions of fruit and veg a day where a portion is 80 grams. After a private lunch and a dinner at Fredrick's I may have reached a total of 20 grams towards my target of 400 grams. There was no option on the menu for ordering side orders of vegetables. I should point out that service was very good. The staff were attentive and cheerful without being too familiar. If I had been paying separately for a two course meal the above would have cost £35."
