"We had an excellent meal at this restaurant. You got to get in between five and six to get the two for one deal. For $91 before tip, I got the catch of the day almondine, an old fashioned, a soup that had crab meat and potatoes in it, and my husband got a fried shrimp dinner that had an enormous portion of shrimp and fries. I can?t remember what the soup was called, but the potatoes were cooked up perfectly to the point where it formed a creamy broth. My included sides were rice and green beans, the fine restaurant version and not the mushy kind. Our waiter was also great."

"We were back to Destin Airport and wanted breakfast. Someone recommended this place. WOW! The grottos were the best of all time. Very creamy with cream and Gouda cheese. And I have the Marxist Grade Omelette. Loading with seafood. The house Bloody Mary was also perfect. I wish they would come to North Carolina!"

"Do not eat here. If you want to enjoy the fantastic view, or listen the the live music, grab a drink, but do not order food. Unfortunately, this place has exploited the best location in SanDestin to rip families off by providing terrible service, subpar food, and an overall terrible dining experience. Upon our out of town guests asking to eat at Hammerheads because of a band scheduled to play, we booked a reservation on Open table. When we arrived, the band scheduled was not playing. We were told to “sit anywhere” and that the entire meal would be ordered on our phones. There were no servers, no hostess, and very few staff. We were one of 4 or 5 tables seated at the time. We ordered on the app. My lobster came out cold, with no butter or lemon and 10 minutes before anyone else’s food. The others’ dishes were also disappointing. One salad had zero dressing provided, another had the dressing drenching the plate while it was requested on the side. We would have refused most of the food but there are no servers! There was no one to tell, because the only way to communicate is via an app. The food was very disappointing, but the bill for our 4 adults and 2 children was $328! More importantly they charged a $40 service charge! At these prices, you can eat anywhere on the emerald coast and get much better food and service. This place needs to stop taking advantage of vacationers and limited options in the Village. If they want to be a cafeteria, that’s fine, but charge accordingly. If this was the last restaurant to dine at in Sandestin, I would skip it. Do not give this place any of your money."

"The view from the patio is overlooking a lovely lake/pond in the distance. Very nice. Ordered smoked salmon off the breakfast menu. Very good and fresh. The bagel was standard, but all the other ingriedents were so good, it was fine. Wait staff was very friendly and accomidating. Perfect for breakfast."
