"This is an astonishing restaurant, packed out and efficient(but in a friendly way!) Goose is the speciality for this time of the year and we were also guided by our friends to have the steak tartare and black pudding starter as an introduction to a typical German meal. Well, the steak tartare was just superb and the black pudding came with a schnapps shot, so another enjoyable first for us! The goose was by far the best I've had. This is a hugely successful restaurant that probably does not need my glowing report but as everyone on the team is working hard for it to be a 'local' and 'typical' venue, I just want to say that if you have the opportunity to go.....do!"

"It is a non pretentious eating joint, which serves tasty food at reasonable price. The cooking section is right at the entrance where you can select the ingredients and place the order. Within short time piping hot, mildly spicy (can be made more spicy if you specifically ask) food will arrive at your table. The portions are large and service is courteous. Though it is furnished simply, the area is spacious with a few tables placed next to large glass windows.Thus in bad weather, having piping hot curry and rice while watching the world go by will make you warm in body and spirit."

"We were in the area and decided to stop in and give it a try. Me and my friends have all had Ethiopian before, but it has been awhile, so the waitress just brought us a large platter for 4, it was delicious. I highly recommend just getting a large platter if you are not a picky eater and want to try a bit of everything. They will make it to your specific spice preference. Additionally, the beer was quite good and went very well with the meal. I would definitely eat here again."

"The only real Peruvian restaurant. The rest have adapted their recipes and menus to such an extent that you cannot call it Peruvian cuisine.Now to "Causas". I've been to Peru so many times and every time I'm more convinced that's it is the best place to eat. The key are their fusion of flavors and their ingredients. And Causas has managed to deliver traditional good quality recipes even without having access to all the unique ingredients of Peru (e.g. Peruvian limes).We first ordered a classic cebiche which was surprisingly good with original Peruvian corn as you would get it in Lima. And for 12,50€ a fair price. The pisco sour was good but could use more pisco. We also ordered a pitcher chicha morada, made of real purple corn and not made with the instant powder. Still a bit diluted if compared to this juice in Peru, but hey, we're in Germany.The heart anticucho was good, maybe a bit small for the price (heart is quite cheap meat at the butcher). The Lomo saltado was OK, maybe a higher temperature of the wok would improve it. The aji de gallina quite good. We even ordered a lucuma ice as dessert, from a fruit only found in Peru. All in all, a really good restaurant and if you haven't tried Peruvian food yet, this might be a place. Prices are maybe a bit steep, but better this way as long as they keep the recipes as traditional as possible and don't start substituting, the mistake many other restaurants do. I recommend it."

"Zufällig sind wir zu zweit in das Weinlokal gestolpert und haben amEnde vier Wein getrunken und auch noch etwas gegessen. Der Ziegenkäsesalat war frisch und die Apfelpfannkuchen , nur zu empfehlen. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gemütlich und das Publikum gemischt. Die Kellnerin hat unsere Getränke amAnfang vergessen, daher ein Punkt Abzug. Aber bei guten Preisen und gutem Geschmack kann man gerne wieder kommen!"

"Wir haben uns vorher die Speisekarte auf der Homepage angeschaut und dort hatten uns einige Gerichte angesprochen so das wir beschlossen haben dort essen zu gehen.Bei schönem Wetter sitzen wir gerne draußen und da der Mühlenhof einen Biergarten hat wollten wir diesen gerne genießen . Dann fing das Desaster an, die Speisekarte im Biergarten ist leider viel kleiner wie die normale Speisekarte und es gibt auch keine Änderungen zu der normalen Speisekarte.Also mussten wir uns entscheiden entweder im Restaurant mit der größeren Auswahl oder draußen sitzen mit der kleineren Auswahl.Wir haben uns dann für draußen entschieden. Nachdem wir unsere Bestellung getätigt hattenJägerschnitzel Filetsteak mit einem kleinen Salatwarteten wir . Mittlerweile kamen immer mehr Gäste und nach 45 Minuten hatten wir immer noch nichts zu essen . Um so verwunderter waren wir , das die Gäste die eine halbe Stunde nach uns kamen ihr Essen vor unserem serviert bekommen haben. Das war dann zu viel und wir waren stinksauer ,haben die Rechnung verlangt und sind dann gegangen. Uns wird man in diesem Restaurant nicht mehr als Gäste begrüßen dürfen ."
