"For a quick snack. Nice atmosphere, but the food was missing. I order the right roasted bean and cheese and as the picture shows it was missing... my wife got the grilled cheese and it was okay, but overpriced. Nothing tastes great. The art inside is beautiful and that helped with the lack of taste, but did not make it. Would recommend eating only here if nothing else is open"

"Amazing dining experience!! We had the lobster tostadas, shrimp and grits, red snapper with shrimp and creme brulee for dessert. Everything was delicious. The service was excellent. We even got to meet Chef Gail and her partner, The Queen . We definitely plan on coming back. Our daughter and son-in-law will be here from Houston next week and we plan on bringing them here. Thank you Chef Gail for a fun, delicious and memorable dining experience! Paul and Esmeralda Gonzales"

"I travel everywhere for professional photography and if I'm in a coastal town I always try local seafood favorite. this place was recommended by an Airbnb where I stayed. Each seafood place had its mysterious fish, not named in certain meals such as fish and chips. most places it is cod or whiting. I asked here and it was Black Drum; not a terrible fish, but not very desired in any way. My wife has that with Pomme's shrimp. I got the black snap. The woman rated Drum a 5/10 and I'm also evaluating the darkened Snapper 5/10. The Snapper had no taste, very dirty. The fried shrimps that came with their meal were very good. My son has the children's cheeseburger and didn't fries like that at all. If this place had been an average price of about 15-20 per person, I would say that this place was a decent choice. But my snap was $35, the drum and shrimp were $35. In truth, my wife said that she would prefer long John Silver. not a good support. It's decent, don't get me wrong, just not for what you pay. For the two plates and the children's cheeseburger of my son it was $87.00. It also did not help that my wife had believed hungry puppies and they did not offer them... lastly the place was very clean and wait the staff, while not so attentive, was very nice. If you don't mind spending the money, I can recommend this place, but if you are pennies or even just price conscious for what you get for your money, I can't recommend this place."

"Had a good Ribeye dinner at the bar on Wednesday evening in June (45 minutes waiting for a table). Very busy in summer... Plan at least one hour to wait for a table. Good food, good service in an entertaining environment!! Sunday and Monday closed. You don't take reservations on the phone... only personally. Worth a visit!"

"Our waitress was very attentive. The food was delicious. It was a nice evening to eat on the veranda. The grilled fish of the day was the Mahi Mahi. Very delicious! The fried chicken is the bomb. The bride was so good! The Mac n cheese is fabulous and would love a large bowl of it. The shrimps were crabs!"

"This place absolutely deserves 5 stars. One of our favorite places we tried on vacation! We went twice and would definitely go again if we weren?t heading back. The food is phenomenal, the breakfast croissants were warm and flaky but not dry, with justthe right amount of meat cheese. I also tried the chicken Chipotle wrap and it was so good I wish I?d gotten another one totake home! We tried their coffee just before heading back and loved it as well. Coffee Waves will be on our list to visit nexttime we go back to Texas!"

"Yes, there was a little wait due to a smaller room and tons of people who want to eat there, but you order while you wait and the food came almost immediately after sitting, so it works to the same time as it is in a larger restaurant, so no complaints there. The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was great, and the people were friendly and helpful. We definitely come back to our next trip."

"I loved everything about it. There yesterday evening and our server stairs and the food. Let's just say they beat it out of the park. I think I'll go back to sit at the bar and have a few drinks next time in town. Besides, it is the perfect place to get some drinks before you go over the street to get your groove on Bernie’s. Hands down excellent"
