"We have been to this Shakey's several times. It's the only one in Calamba. We usually order soup and pasta. I usually order the lasagna and my wife the sausage pene pasta. We retired from the US and the food here is close enough to what we had there. Cost of food may be pricey but with shakey's card and sr card, then it's affordable. the meat ball spaghetti is truly a monster meatball. It's really good for two. We took our balikbayan grandchildren here and one of them always ordered calamares. we would also have the captain's choice appetizers. chicken and mojos are acceptable. Service is average. Billout takes time. Parking is excellent. There are more parking in the back. come and leave on non-rush hour time. traffic can be terrible on halang."

"My first time to visit this place. Place is small and crowded. Playing loud rock music supposed to hurry you up. Counter person was helpful and patient. Ordered the seafood platter. Did not know it is also available in several flavors: soy garlic, spicy, honey citrus and crunchy garlic. ordered the soy garlic seafood platter. It is very good. The shrimp and calamari were tender and not overcooked. Fish was also good. Also ordered the honey citrus chicken. You have a choice of chicken parts. Ordered the breast. Skin was very tough. Maybe it was supposed to be crunchy? The chicken meat was nothing special. Chow king has better fried chicken. The Bulgogi noodle soup was also good. It was clean and clear. They also offer several rice meals for P155. Seems to be popular with students, Will come back again to try the other food choices specially the fish and chips, a personal favorite but did not see until after I have ordered."

"The family ate lunch here - beef bulalo, sinigang na bulalo, tawilis and chicken fillet. The bulalo is a little salty for my taste and a must to put calamansi to enhance the flavor. The prices are reasonable. Overall the food was great."
