"On Friday for some sushi and a cup of coffee for lunch. Place was pretty busy! Looks like 80% full, but even though the service was great, out server was fast and beautiful. Sushi came after about 10 minutes waiting time, which is not bad. We tried the “#9” role for $17 and the vegetarian “California” role for $11,50. Both were great! The #9 roll was delicious and the salmon upstairs was fresh. Not usually a fan of too much salmon in my sushi because it tastes chewing, but their salmon slices were fresh and very pleasant!"

"Eating was phenomenal and I never experienced a better service. my man and I were out with two other couples to celebrate his birthday! we had little italy and the tomaten burrata for our appetizer, both delicious! can not recommend the Spanish paella enough, everyone in the party loved it (unfortunate I don't, vegetarian). the personal cared for us excellently, we even made a photo with the owners! we can't wait to go back!"

"Hidden on Wok in the park and what a great find! The food is fresh, spicy (or not you to decide), super tasteful, gluten-free or veg (return to decide) and overall delicious. I loved the pumpkin spice puffs served with a spicy sweet dip sauce it was like dessert as an appetizer, but much better. Serve size if generous, so you can share or go home leftover. The staff was knowledgeable, friendly and attentive."

"Our visit to Lucky Cricket was great. Our server (I believe it was Jasmine) was so friendly, helpful and fast. She made great suggestions, which we chose from for both cocktails and a bunch of sharing plates. The mushrooms and lettuce wraps from the sharing section of the menu were amazing. I keep dreaming of the savory, saucy mushrooms which we spooned over rice to absorb the amazing sauce. We had a mandarin chicken noodle bowl that was also super tasty. The chicken was amazing, but noodles were a little on the indulgent side in combination with the fried mandarin chicken. The cocktails were all outstanding and had really fun touches like pop rocks in one and micro edible flowers in another. The location of this restaurant is likely the only thing holding it back from being packed, as the West End's traffic isn't as high as it could be. For a Saturday evening, dimming the lights a bit more and adding some music could bring in a more exciting ambiance. Overall, I really loved my experience at Lucky Cricket and will be back!"
