"We went years ago when it was very right, but not inspiring. Today, our first time with a new owner, and the difference is noticeable. Excellent ingredients married with thoughtful and imaginative preparation. For example, we thought the Brochette de Crevettes, with which we started, would...be modest size prawns the word covers all kinds of sizes, but these were ugly guys that you would often find on a main, with a grandiose delicate vegetable garnish, and all this on a menu that 22,50 for three courses (18,50 for two). The chicken was high, why don't we try harder with quality in Britain? and at other tables a tartiflette went down a treat. Last time we felt good, but easily protected. Today much better, much warmer....and a sober journey to a nearby war cemetery made the locality a plus. Put this on your shortlist!"
