"I've been coming here regularly for years, I have to say the food is really good here, Dosas, Biryani and be it all. Although there is a slight change in taste lately, but still good enough. Would definitely recommend everyone and it is always packed the most time. But it was worth it. Good service, although after extension, there is only one server in the new compartment, so it takes some time to get your order. But if you sit in the old master room, the service is good enough."

"The hotel is not at all a great place for bengali food. The seating n ambience is not great and the food was highly salted. While some of the items like mutton curry omlette was better than the others but the dal,sabzi n aloo fry was cold n tasteless. The skill on how you can spoil bengali food is to be learnt from here. I can confidently say this as half my life i have eaten bengali food and in much better ambience,quantity,and presentation and yeah and all these exoeriences hvent come from a fine dining restaurant but regular bengali eateries. Hotel suruchi is nthn but a disappointment and shillong needs to up the ante on having good food if it needs to become popular like other hill stationa"

"Food is good. The fact that it is one of the few fast food places that serves Beef makes it unique. Meat menu consists mainly of Chicken, Beef and Egg. Another plus point is that the momos actually have generous amount of meat as well unlike many so called popular Cafes and Restaurants around Shillong. I absolutely recommend this place for all Momo buffs and foodies. Price: 8/10 Taste: 8/10 Waiting Time: 5/10"

"The food is good and tastes great , the decor is good and cozy, the place is near the main market areas, employees are good and have nice behaviour.... So it's a good place for brunch or even for a heavy meal afterwards. We ordered pork chilly gravy, rice and chapati, and found the food to be a little too costly , but the taste and portion of food is ok in comparison to the price . So , I'll say go for it."

"Nice place to have food, it shows it opens at 9:00am but you’ll get food around 11:00am onwards, They have a smoking room inside the restaurant itself so it’s convenient for smokers as well, The parking area is small but at-least they have it than to not have one in a congested city, the staffs are nice and easy to communicate and deal with them. Keep up the Good Work."

"It's a rarity. The menu does not fit into any stereotypes and has its own identity and it will intrigue you to order if you like to experiment new food. The cook is also there to recommend the dishes or drinks the best. The ambience is warm and cozy and directly at the main point Laitumukrah. It is a perfect place for food lovers. I went with two other friends and the three of us had a great time to eat. So it's an unbiased judgment. I had Reid chicken cheese pommes (it is a must, absolute yum), fiery wings (right amount of chillies), BBQ chicken pizza (soft crust and perfect topping and apt amount of cheese), legendary burgers (the chopped chicken patty is not too fleshy or chewing, just perfect it was actually legendary) and Irish coffee that was best with. Also, all at bags friendly price."
