"Not my native as I visited for the day, but so glad I stopped here for my meal. the staff was so friendly and helpful. I got the chicken with ham, that was very tasty and grieving on my own feast. chips as a side that were crispy and hot and a side of the curry sauce that was aromatic with exactly the right amount. everything was hot and well packed and packed. all will be loved again if I am back and recommend others."

"This was our first time in Macfarlane and my wife booked it for my birthday. What a fantastic treat. Right from the off it was a very professional and extremely friendly front of house team. Fantastic explanation of the dining experience we were going to...get and plenty of advice on what and how we could go about it but the choice was ours to make, the team would make it work. The food was exquisite all served as it should be, we could have chosen more options as all the food looked tasty but stomach capacity is limited. Food combinations certainly complimented each other and were different, the Lamb and Scallops especially. Again we can’t complement the front of house staff (and of course the brilliant cocktail mixologist) enough. However behind the calm and professional team up front there are the chefs out back who pedal hard to provide the backbone for this fantastic place to dine, we thank them too. We will definitely be back."

"I cannot praise this restaurant high enough. the service is excellent and that begins with the minute that it is in the door to foot. their order is taken when they are ready with a friendly waitress. the kitchen must be well organized because all their meals come together (6 people) they can no longer be attentive, but not all 5 minutes at the table. I don't think the price is too high. I'm afraid to say too much if it's too busy to get a table. thanks to all employees"

"Fantastic meal last night, as always. Very warm welcome from the owner and staff. We visit this restaurant whenever we are in Girvan, maybe 2 or 3 times a year. It is by far, the best Indian restaurant in Ayrshire. Their pakora is freshly made,...not refried, and is so tasty. Last night I had the tandoori lamb meal and it was absolutely delicious. It comes with rice, salad and a really lovely spicy sauce. So nice that I took what I couldn't eat in a doggy bag for today's lunch! Highly recommended and never disappoints."

"Oh my word, me and ma wee mammy are in heaven with this place. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we walked in, we had home-made potato and leek soup with a sandwich and a pot of tea. Absolutely delicious, you can't beat home made and good company, we will definitely be visiting again. Five star quality."

"Slow service due to obvious staff shortages. Those present were working hard but the venue was busy with only three serving and one at the drinks bar. Took ages. I think Buzzworks (the holding company) is making some assumptions about loyalty. Other venues might be better value and worth a try. I also had steak which tasted cheap, but wasn’t cheap."
