"We dropped in for breakfast at this restaurant to try a breakfast offered as part of the Melbourne Food Festival. We were quickly seated and ordered the special breakfast of Vietnamese salad with a sizzling beef plate and Vietnamese iced coffee for $15. The food was served quickly by friendly staff who helpfully suggested that we could use the cos lettuce leaf to hold the beef.This is a pleasant and well presented restaurant with helpful, well trained staff. The service is efficient, the environment is clean and the seating comfortable.We will definitely return to this venue."

"Ahhhh....Gold Leaf, Springvale. It’s your typical Chinese restaurant that has been around since the dawn of time. It's a bit old, it's a bit tacky, it's a bit rude. Their yumcha is standard fare but the suckling pig (which requires preordering) is the highlight. <br/ <br/ I ordered a half serve for a special occasion. It was done to perfection and it was wolfed down very quickly. I really should have asked for a full serve....regrets! Won’t make that critical error again."

"This is one of best fish and chip shops I have ever been too. Everything is consistently of top quality and fresh. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. Everything is recommended but for my money you cannot go past the souvlaki. Best I've ever had. Enjoy"

"We came here because during this 20 diners-only limitations, our regular place was full (20 people)....but this place had seats for us that we felt after almost 3 months without food. It was really very common and can understand why it...whoe places available"

"Looking for a simple meal on a Sunday afternoon, we came across this restaurant. As most of the restaurants in this area, it is simple but cleaner than some others we saw. Being a nice day, we sat outside to eat. I had the lemongrass & chilli chicken with rice and the flavours were delicious!!! Partner had the char kuey teow and it was also extremely tasty!! Thermos of tea on the table, friendly service, extensive menu...I think we will return."

"I don't ever eat red rooster just stopped by for some chips and gravy for 2.50 and wow way more delish than kfc by a mile . Place was completely empty... staff were good. Chips were cooked fresh while I waited . Gravy was so tasty"

"Big mama’s pizza is a nice little joint in the corner police street. as we ran shortly before the time, we went with the traditional s: margerita pizza and pfefferoni pizza. both had thin crust and were very tasty. love it"
