"Such good food but such slow service every time. If they tell you a time to collect, arrive at least 15-30 minutes late because you will usually sit and wait. We have sat waiting for an hour after our pickup time before and they offered...us a drink, we got one beer, which we were then charged for later anyways! They need to give more accurate times, or more complimentary food for giving the wrong waiting times. Don’t get me wrong, the food is great food, if you’re prepared to wait. Knowing this, we continue to go back and back!"

"Met friends at GapView Hotel recently. We ordered drinks at bar inside to sit out by the pool. Only as we went out the door did we see a sign saying no glass allowed outside so had to then ask for plastic cups for our drinks. We ordered meals (6 x) which were ready in a reasonable time and they were a great size (enough to share between 2) and very tasty. It's a great spot for families to keep the kids entertained (swimming) but at 5pm there wasn't much shade and the temp was still warm so we were forced to sit by bbq as families had their stuff spread over tables near to pool even though they were swimming. The service was good and it was well priced."

"The chef here really knows how to cook callimari, superb. They have a great porter on tap and the Jacko's shiraz is a good drop. We had a wonderful early dinner. Great spot for a date night. Thank you."

"Tasty, Fast and Friendly. Have always had great service, and good food from Asia Canteen(The Gap Canteen) Best Asian takeaway I have had in Brisbane 11 Feb, 2015 Thai Chili Chicken. Stir fried chicken with lots of chillies! Great!"

"It is understandable that the training of new employees takes time, effort and focus, and we know that personal shortages hurt small businesses, but call 3 times, talking to a manager, have lacked the order with objects (after entering as picking up incorrectly by the author on the phone), and really the experience after going home, with carelessness and contempt by the staff to advise their mistake when they are called. I didn't even dessert and the ton she used was ice cold."
