"It’s been a few months since I last visited and I wondered if my experience would be just as good. Fortunately, I was not disappointed! While the menu is lengthy with many tempting dishes, I gravitated to my favourite. I got the pork loin with rice and my wife got the pad thai with chicken. The food was once again fresh, flavourful, and plentiful."

"This restaurant/pub used to be called Centre Bar and Grill. The new ownership has created an establishment that makes me want to return. A friend and I wandered in, looking for a late dinner after catching a movie. I was delighted that organic spring mix...is used in all the salads. I was also pleased to learn that all soups, pasta and pizza sauces, etc are home made from scratch on site. They have an authentic pizza oven in the kitchen. Prices are very reasonable compared to similar Thornhill venues. A veggie burger with your choice of side is only $8.95. My friend ordered it, and she said it was the best she's ever tasted. Our server told us that customers who order the veggie burger make that comment frequently. I ordered the hamburger with house salad $9.95. The burger (with onion, tomato, pickle and lettuce) was big and delicious. Service was fast and pleasant, and our server had a wonderful personality. Very helpful and friendly. I liked the dining area separated from the pub area. People who like sports on TV can enjoy, while people who come to dine aren't disturbed by the noise. There's one regulation size pool table. Our server mentioned that they host karaoke here on Thursday and Saturday nights, but karaoke is suspended for the summer, until college students return the end of August. We'll likely return for karaoke with dinner when it resumes."

"Partner and I went there for dinner on a Wednesday evening. The interior is bright and very clean. However, as we were leaving, partner went to the ladies' room. Came back and said it was dirty, not messy, but dirty.It was a cold evening and each time the door opened, a cold draught blew in and made it uncomfortable until we warmed up again. The place needs a second inner door. It does a good take out business as the phone rang often. And that's another complaint. The telephone ring is exceptionaly loud and disturbing.Service? I found it slow even though the place was not busy. Empty dishes were left in place far too long. A beer was poured soon after arrival and the empty bottle was still on the table when we were paying the check. And for dessert I asked for a bowl of ice cream and coffee. How long should it take to scoop out some ice cream into a bowl? Minutes later I was told the coffee machine was broken. Does it take this long to realize the machine is broken? I think the staff prefered not to make coffee for the last customer in the place.And while we were waiting for our order, we heard a loud voice complain as to why it was taking so long for his food to arrive, He'd been waitng a long time.I could bear these complaints if the food was special, but it was not. I enjoyed the hot and sour soup and the "signature dish" of noodles. The remainder of the meal was, as I said, average at best.All in all, a one time shot for us."

"Went for lunch with co-workers. We ordered ahead of time. Table was ready for bus when we got there, food came out within minutes and was soooo tasty! The butter chicken is to die for and the naan is delicious. This will be a regular lunch spot for sure."

"Attentive staff with huge portions. A bit salty for my liking but tomato sauce and Parmigiano were flavourful. Wed live jazz trio was fun."

"This was our third visit to Stonefire Bar and Grill. Like our other visits, we have to rate our overall experience as 100%. Service was great, attentive and our server, Chanel, knew all the specials being offered that evening. Although she did not bring our meals to our table, the server who did so gave my wife and I the correct dinner. Later Chanel, as well as other staff, dropped by our table to ensure our needs were being met. Before that happened though, Chanel did inform us that our red wine was not available and suggested another wine it was indeed a great substitute! Now for the food. Everything was delicious and looked great on the plate. While both my wife ordered the filet minion, we asked for them to be cooked differently and they were. We tasted each other's steaks and noticed the difference in the taste. We do not visit this establishment on a regular basis as we like to have a place to go for special occasions. Stonefire is our go to place now for special times as we know we will never be disappointed."
