"When you go on restraurant, you see the wonder athmosphere with old cabinet, the olds tables, chairs and typical decoration, so great ! we have choice for lunch inside or outside on,terrasse protected. we opt for the second and it 's a nice choice, decoration and...ambiance exellent Because it 's hot monday and don 't be very hungry, we choose for 3 salads, one salmon and schrimps and 2 fermière can select start size or dish size. The dish size is enought for 2 ! so crazy really big portion ! and have egg, hard and mollet tomatoes, chicken roasted , exellent for 13 € ! two regrets : only 1 beer : not a local speciality, and the water san pellegrino bottle expensive, 5.80 € ! . We can order wine glass by glass, 3 € for local rosé. in resume go on and keep pleasure !"

"In juli many touring restaurants are closed, so this was a good sound. the weather had turned out so that it was nothing to sit inside. we were the only English there and it had a beautiful French atmosphere. we had a drink in le parisian at the river, which also looked beautiful, but it was full of Americans so that we did not eat there. the food was well presented and delicious. as it is in the wine growing area macon is very expensive, so we had Provence house wine, which was good. Chicken and cherry legs on most menus too. recommend the chaource starter."

"Family lunch on a Sunday in August. we reserve a table on the terrace. The person on the phone tells us that it's not a problem and we can have lunch outside. We arrive, the restaurant displays full at the entrance of the parking lot.However we observe when arriving that only a few tables are occupied and only in the room. Nobody outside. We are told that our table is in the room and that there is no service on the terrace. However, the sun is at the rendezvous and the terrace is sadly empty...We take 3 menus, a à la carte dish with a cheese plate and a child menu that we water with a bottle of wine and sparkling water before concluding with a coffee. Regarding the child menu at 12 euros, no choice (syrup, burger and 2 ice balls). So we ask the waitress (charmante) if it's a problem to change the drink (my daughter doesn't like water syrup) and dessert (my daughter doesn't like ice). the waitress tells us that it doesn't cause any concern and that this change does not pose any difficulties. She doesn't mention any supplements. It's gone for a glass of orange juice and a cream with a dessert. With regard to the cheese plate, we are told that we must order it from the beginning of the meal so that the kitchen has the time to prepare it)?(.The menus are correct (without the price. Big doubt about fish and frogs. in my opinion frozen). rather good but simple entries. Basic desserts, no more. 7-euro ridiculous cheese plate, 4 tiny pieces of cheese lost in a large plate.Menu child: very medium hamburger, macdo level and about ten fries type potatoes : 12 euros anyway.Petites disappointments already. confirmed by the addition since at the child menu at 12 euros were added the price of orange juice and the price of dessert à la carte (when these supplements were not announced). When I am surprised at the boss, he answers me that it is obvious that these more are billed (and at the high price) since not included in the child menu. in total: 180 euros! Add a little salty for a just average lunch. Too bad the waitress was charming and the pleasant setting. We understood for what in this Sunday of August the restaurant terrace was empty while the tables around were full. We're not coming back."

"With my wife, my son and his partner had a brilliant meal at this restaurant in the centre of Tournus. Great food, excellent wine and a fantastic host. We sat on a table outside with a superb view of the abbey. Food was excellent, as...good as we had on our holiday. Highly recommended."

"Arrived on a hire boat and looked forward to a good meal. Used trip advisor but the chosen restaurant was closed (Thursday.) As were most others. Found this one which was open but empty. Limited menu was interesting so decided to stay. Wow only two choices for each course but excellent presentation and quality. Service excellent and the chef deserves an award. Pity Michelin gave out their stars two days ago. If this was typical it deserves to be much higher up the list."

"By accident, tripadvisor ended up with meulien. We were on our way to lyon and elected at noon for the cheapest menu of $35. Was really a super experience, renewing combinations and from beginning to end, also for vegatariers! A real rapist."
