"This place is a true gem in western Pa. The menu is inspired. Not what you'd expect in small town pa. My wife and I have eaten here over 25 times. Never disappointed. Ava the owner is always present, greeting guests and assuring the highest quality. The servers are all professional, pleasant and not overbearing. The bartenders know how to mix a drink. The menu is varied the food is the best in a 30 mile radius (at least! . I usually do not order fish outside of metropolitan area but any fish I've had here has been on par with the best. Just finished a trout dish cooked to perfection. Can't go wrong with the steak, pork chops or lamb. The veggies are fresh and delicious! The wine list is good with a nice selection and reasonable mark up. If you are anywhere close to Franklin stop in. You won't be disappointed. PS to the person who gave them a one star review, his suggestion to go to McDonald's tells you all you need to know. This isn't fast food. To each his own!"

"First time there the food was no good. Had the pernil with yucca and bananas the pernil was not cooked thoroughly I have had way better."

"This was our very first visit to this donut shop ? I was trying it on a whim with my husband while visiting Reading, Pa. We watched as they warmed a fresh glaze from a saucepan and poured it over his donut order? Wow. Every bite was extremely satisfying ? so doughy that the dough bounced back after every bite. We have never had donuts like these before! Brava and bravo! My husband says, ?honey? we HAVE to go back there AGAIN!?"

"Ordered 3 Sandwiches to sample the Tripleta(3 meats with other special stuff), and steak and chicken Jibaritos. The jibarito has fried plantain as the 'bread ' and is eaten best with a knife and fork. As I took a bite out of each, all I could say to myself is WOW! ... Wow! Wow! Wow! It takes a while for preparation (maybe because I ordered 3 sandwiches on the spot) but it 's made to order and well worth it!!! There 's not a lot of room to sit and eat, just a bar by the window. I will definitely be back!!!"

"Located in a strip mall. Interior decor is nice. Menu prices a tad high. Attentive server. Empanadas were tasty, but you only get two for $10. Too much. Sauces with the empanadas were very good. The rest of the food was good and semi-authentic. Complimentary chips and salsa were good. Rice and refried beans were standard. We ended up at about $40 for lunch."

"Pollo Guisado was so good. Rice was nice and fluffy and the chicken had the right amount of seasoning. The Chicken Cheese Steak is always good. Had to share with friends because the portions were too big for me. Will order again."
