"I'm not sure why the ratings aren't better! We experienced great food and service, and the restaurant was super clean. The mountains do not usually have decent Mexican food, but Casa Grande is an exception. I was able to order something off of the regular menu and have it vegetarian. FYI, if you have dietary restrictions, they will assist. The waiter informed me that both the black beans and refried beans are vegetarian. However, the rice (made e chicken stock) and pinto (made w pork) are not. Everything was served hot, promptly, and our food was delicious. My husband enjoyed the steak tacos, and I had the chimichanga vegetarian. Both of the salsas were super fresh, one spicy, one mild, and the queso was so good. Thanks guys, great job! One request, please, stop using one ti.e use plastic straws."

"Never would have expected this place to be as good as it was. My group and I ate on the bar side of the inn, and it’s a proper dive. It’s old, beat up, and has kind of a musty smell to it, but it’s somehow not dilapidated or dirty. It’s just old, it has character, and it’s completely trustworthy. I got a Fish Chips plate that rivaled some of the better Fish Chips I’ve had anywhere in the country or in the UK. Other people in my party had the sandwiches and smoked meats, and everybody enjoyed their meal. The local charm here is off the charts. Stopping here for a drink and a meal should be an easy call for anybody visiting town."

"Great prizes, super delicious food and huge portions! my friend and I stopped here after a walk. it is an inconceivable building, but if they don't care about decor/ethetics, that's their place. I have the kung pao huh and she has the sweet and acidic huh. my was spicy and delicious! her was also very tasty. the chicken was not dry at all - a problem with many Chinese restaurants. we have lunch specialties. for about $10 per, they get the meat, fried rice, egg roll, and they choose the suppe they want! we will definitely return. beautiful, delicious Chinese dishes found in colorado."

"Breakfast could be better by a long shot. I ordered turkey bacon and it came out burnt tasting and so crispy that you would assume it was a potato chip. The French toast was good but we weren’t offered syrup, which is odd when a restaurant serves breakfast but your server doesn’t make the offer. My home fries were inconsistently chopped up so you got massive pieces with smaller pieces and there was a lot of burned pieces. Biscuits and gravy were not great because the biscuits were doughy rather than pan crispy outside and fluffy, and the gravy was low quality like it was not homemade or at least too much of something because it came out gelatinous (you could spoon it and it retained shape like you would with pudding or jello). This was ordered Easter Sunday and the service was good but not great considering it was at 10% capacity. I don’t think the prices reflect the quality (in regards to breakfast)Lunch and dinner are still good though."
