"We went to the special Christmas pop up and it was disappointing. It wasn't decorated for Christmas that much more than any other bar, the special Christmas drink menu was pricey, the food was very expensive for what it was and in spectacularly small portions. The music was mostly non-Christmas, and the service was slow (it was crowded). Not terrible but seems if you're going to advertise yourself as a winter wonderland and charge a big mark-up you should try harder."

"This is one of the places in Vancouver where you’d normally wait for almost an hour to be seated luckily enough when we got here it was just a bit almost lunch time so we got a table pretty quickly after we got seated a party of 40 people arrived (yay for our timing! . We got the Saganaki and the Lamb Souvlaki which were both really yum and their serving is really big! The staff were very friendly and I like the quaintness of the place. I will definitely go back to this restaurant when I’m back in Vancouver!"

"The food was delicious, albeit mostly overpriced. They had a good range of sandwiches and actual entree dishes. It might be a more enjoyable environment in the summer because the front door opening every 5 minutes lets in a stream of cold air which permeates throughout the open concept dining room."

"Compared to other similar pub type establishments, this place is a cut above the rest when it comes to food quality and value for money. While not a fine dining establishment, what the kitchen does here, it does extremely well, the portions are not oversized, nor are they over priced! We came for the 4-6pm happy hour en route to an early evening show, two drinks each, shared 3 appies, and with a well deserved tip, the tab was approximately $65. That is what I call excellent value in Vancouver.. These folks are committed to locally sourced food and craft beers, and, incredbily offer live musical entertainment several nights of the week without any cover charge !! This place is a winner on Main St. Don 't take my work for it, try it yourself if casual bites and bevvies is what you hanker for !"

"The food was absolutely amazing!! The service was excellent. The only thing that was a disappointment was when I asked for the Bloody Marys pictured on their website with garnishes of Shrimp, bacon, etc. The server informed me that they do not serve those. I was confused because they are featured and they were one of the reasons I wanted to try the restaurant."
