"Food delicious! Service not bad. I was charged 25 extra to add spinach to my mushroom omelette. She said it would be between 15-20 pesos extra so it was a little annoying but I didn’t bother mentioning it for the sake of 5-10 pesos more than expected. Didn’t see any server smile ever. It would be really nice to be greeted with a smile but hey I bet they’re not paid so well and they’re not having the best time."

"Definitely an Old Mexico sensibility: lots of tables looking out onto a green lawn, fountain, flowers. We had an excellent breakfast: coffee/juice/pastry and choice of a main, e.g. Tamales, chilaquiles. Outstanding value I think the charge was only about 55 pesos per person. When we were there it was not crowded, so we found it a good break from a day of touring. When it's busier, a man plays the marimba, and I would have opted for even a recording of that since the piped in pop music is really banal. But good place for breakfast, even if you leave it until 1:00pm, as we did."

"This place is the type of Garbage rip off shop you 'd expect in Cancun or Tijuana. It is a shame San Cristobal has to suffer such insults. I paid 90.00 peso for 3x week old microwaved Quesadillas which were still cold they were so disgusting I couldn 't even finish them, even though I make a habit of finishing all things served me as disgusting as they might be. Subsequently this goes down as my worst meal throughout my life so far. And an added insult was that a tip was included. I also paid 38.00 peso for a black coffee which is 15.00 peso at better restaurants. This place is a trash basket! I was the only customer unsurprisingly."
