"In the spirit of the Japanese show "Lunch On" (go on, Google it, you know you want to ???? ) I'm gonna try to review worker's lunches, or what kiosks/food courts give the best bang for your buck. I'll try to find tasty meals that won't burn a hole in your pocket.<br>

McKinley Hill in Taguig is not the most accessible place and restaurants here tend to be on the pricey end, considering that a lot of Koreans seem to live here (well the Korean Embassy and the Korean International School is here, duh), however a lot of BPO's and tech companies have also found a home here, so what is a hapless employee on a budget do? (Especially, since taking a cab is the easiest way in and out of this joint!)<br>

Well, there's a food court tucked at the end of the overpass from the Venezia Mall to the Intellectual Property Office. One of the shops there is Nakamura Meals which offer Japanese style food.<br>

Emphasis on "style" as their food is far from authentic, but will do in a pinch.<br>

Of their menu I have already tried the Katsu Pork Curry and their Oyakodon (directly translated as "parent and child rice bowl" - grisly, right?). Both have filets that are tender enough, but have serviceable though uninspiring taste.<br>

The curry bowl is more of a breaded porkchop with curry sauce. The curry was sharp but tastes of cheap powder.<br>

The Oyakodon's egg is not silky and more like scrambled eggs on breaded chicken.<br>

Still what do you expect for a budget meal? Their donburi were filling enough and the portions weren't stingy."
