"This Sonic has been great up until our last 2 visits. One being tonight, 1/15/22. We ordered 2 large waters and after one drink in each we felt something like a sandy texture in our mouths. We dumped the waters out to find some sort of yellow substance at the bottom. (See pics below). The visit before last we ordered a blast, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture thinking it was a fluke incident, but it seemed to be a piece of dirty paper towel that ended up in the blast. Luckily it wasn’t swallowed. I’m not sure if this is negligence or intentional but either way it should be resolved immediately. Sadly I can no longer trust this place as a safe place to eat or even simply get water from. Service has always been great but the quality and safety of even the water is now very concerning. I am posting this for people who continue to go so that they are aware and can look out for these sort of things. The last thing anyone needs is to become ill because of a water they ordered from sonic..."

"The service was absolutely fantastic and the ambiance was delightful! The food was definitely not outstanding, though. The seasoning was unbalanced (or missing), but there was a lot of food, so if you're just looking for fuel to keep you going, it's not bad!"

"If you’re passing through Abilene you must stop and try Miguels. Their bar area and outside courtyard are amazing seating. The whole restaurant is so beautiful, they put so much detail into every square inch. We went tonight for dinner and had great food, drinks and service. I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who lives here or just passing by. Try the Camerones and El patron margarita you won’t be disappointed!!"

"El Fenix Cafe is like an oasis in Abilene. Their meals and recipes are always consistent and even if their waiters change over time, it is always a fresh smile to serve face. I've eaten here since I discovered this place almost ten years ago. It's no wonder why they were successful all the time. You have a lot of history and it is family owned, you can taste their authenticity in their courts. I recommend this place for anyone looking for great food in a beautiful atmosphere. It can be quite busy at times, especially Sundays, but from quiet nights, it is an amazing experience... but I think that depends on your date too;D thanks El Fenix!!! I hope you stay here forever. VIVA!!!"
