"Had a lovely dinner made better by the friendly staff who had taken note that it was an anniversary dinner and offered complimentary drinks and a dessert. The only disappointment was that the fries tasted like McDonald's frozen skinny fries unacceptable to not have handcut fries at a restaurant of this calibre."

"I did not know a waiter could be so rude and have an horrible attitude towards my family and I. I just wanted to take my father and family out for a lovely fathers day lunch, but this unfortunately did not work out after the waiter made a rude comment towards my father. We were not informed that Haiku Bukhara does not work together and you can not eat from both menus. So unfortunate that it's such an beautiful place with bad service and an unfortunate menu."

"We had such a great night last night at Yindee's Authentic Thai Restaurant. The staff were hospitable and friendly and made us feel so welcome. The waitress knew the menu so well that she was able to give detailed information about the various meals when we asked for recommendations. I was a bit concerned about the spiciness/heat of the dish I wanted and our waitress said she would mention it to the chef so that they could adjust the meal accordingly. The food was superb. We had the corn fritters (out of this world! and satay pork as a starter and then half a deboned duck and panang curry. The portions were generous and the flavors authentic. We spent the last minutes of our evening discussing when we should return and with whom. It was a 10/10."

"5 stars for food quality and imagination. 4 stars for a few articles....nice to have a delicious 5 curs meal with people from all over the world. the lowlands, france, brazil, south Africa and the usa were all represented. the restaurant has my gluten-free diets at the presentation really interesting and delicious food. the first cure was hake fish with a crispy nut crumb. the 2nd curs was meerruß strauß with a hoisin like sauce and fresh green, which was perfectly and really tastefully cooked. the third cure was a suppe with carrots and vanilla with a chili con carne and a mild chili popper rolled in kicherererbsenmehl and deep fried. the 4th curs was cheese with homemade crackers and smoke seasoned beet root jam. the 5th cure was dessert — pancetta with strawberry jelly and short brot with sawn and jam. eating was amazing. service was very good. a few not so amazing details. the order in which she was served was unorthodox and a little strange. the greens served with the duck were very strongly flavored and overwhelmed the delicate duck aromen. the weepings were quite strange and not especially to our joy, especially the order in which they were served (connection between white and red and then back again.) the only other complaining is that it was quite loud in the dining room and hard to hear what other guests said."

"Unless you're a pescetarian, don't expect a lot of choice at this place. Although the menu's veg section seems large, most dishes are prepared with fish or oyster sauce and it seems to be difficult for the kitchen to omit it. The waiter was also very inflexible and couldn't add vegetables to my tofu dish(?! so it was marinated fried tofu only. Very good one, admittedly. I ordered stir fry veg as a side dish but ended up paying a full main course price for it (70R . Rice costs extra as well. I was told that juices are freshly squeezed from the actual fruit but that was clearly not the case and I was served somewhat industrial juice. When refusing to tip my waiter for the bad service, he got upset and bitched about us with his colleague. Staff was smoking in the dining room shortly before the restaurant opened so it smelled of tobacco when we came in. Not a very pleasant experience."

"Great selection of Tex-Mex food in the southern suburbs. The nachos is always a winner (with beans or veg) and is suitable for 2 people to share. Service is pleasant and efficient. Weekends and happy hour get rather busy especially if sports games are on, so be sure to make a reservation to avoid disappointment."
