"Went to eat here as we were visiting a friend in Banbury, The decor looks okay but very dated. The my partner and our friend are both gluten intolerant and were given a gluten free menu, but several of the dishes on that menu are on the regular menu and are several pounds cheaper. The dishes that were served were luke warm and smelled either sweaty or of pee ! My partner wanted the strawberries and meringue for dessert, but was told by the waitress that it contained sponge! very unusual and not entirely believable. The dessert he finally chose was Thai custard, which was actually creme caramel. The toilets had ivy growing through the window and was not very clean. When we were paying the bill with one of the several miserable waitresses, she asked how much we were going to leave as a tip, so she could add it to the bill. I said I would tip in cash, as I usually do, to make sure the staff get it. I am a bit silly and should not have tipped at all as it was not worth a tip because of the unhelpful staff, but anyway, as we got up to leave a Thai man was hovering next to us to see if we left a tip on the table. As soon as we moved, he pounced to see what we had left. Thank goodness, we found a nice little place across the road to eat ,next time we visit , as the place needs drastic improvement. !!"

"The last few times we have been, half the (already not extensive) menu has not been available. This time 5 of the 6 meals arrived, then came an apology for the mix up, but we were assured meal 6 would arrive shortly and we would not be charged for it. The other meals were finished and cleared away before we were advised that meal six was being plated up. It took a further 5 minutes to make its way to the table. As I don't eat dessert, I'd asked the others to order theirs and asked the waiter to serve the desserts with my main course as I didn't want to be eating on my own. This seemed to be too difficult to do, so I ate alone then sat and watched the others eat (again). The staff were apologetic and they did take my main course and the 2 desserts off the bill, however I have been disappointed by the coach and horses one too many times now. I very much doubt I will be returning and I certainly will not be recommending it."

"Absolutely first-class meal and service. I have been using Voujon for many years and it is by far the best Indian restaurant in Banbury, in my opinion. I can't eat dairy and the staff went out of the way to make my favourite curry but without any dairy in. Thank you so much for making our anniversary a special night."

"Great eating, thought the house special roasted rice, bark curry and crushed bark chili was excellent tonight. it is good if they have an online site, so it saves the wait on the phone, but apart from that, really enjoyed my meal with the kids."

"Dined a Siam House last night with friends. The food was fantastic, all the staff are welcoming and friendly and very helpful. There is a good choice of options to suit all tastes and budgets. We had the 3 course set price evening menu. Starter, main (which comes with rice), ice-cream or a tea or coffee. I would highly recommend this restaurant and I will be going back very soon."
