"At several visits I learned why ruen pair was so highly praised in hollywood. if they know what to order, there is quite a lot of this restaurant has to offer. at my last visit, I had decided to get 3 dishes I believed. -thai issan sausages, an appetizer plate of delicious sausages served in northern style with nuts, ingwer and thai chili. the sausage had been infused with tears like Korean blood sausage. the meat was tender and packed with aromen. when they eat it with nuts and a bite of Thai chili pepper, it is excellent. -half order of the bbq thai chicken, served with a sweet sauce I didn't use. I think this court is called gai yang in thai. the flesh was wonderfully spiced. So there was no need for a sauce. I noticed one. chicken breast meat is dry when they do not eat it while it is hot. for this special plate. go first for the white meat, because moistness tends to escape as it cools. larb with bark, quite a lot thai meat salad. made from toasted sticky rice powder (khao khua), this was the court I was most excited to try. I have an order of muted sticky rice ($1.50) to go with this dish, and it was amazing. although I thought the part was a little on the little side, all in all, a very tasty dish. my friends ordered the yellow curry and pad thai. one of the complaining of my friend about the curry was that after eating all the dishes I had ordered it was too tasteful and totally exaggerated the aromes of the curry. my other friend ordered the pad thai. I had a taste, it was pretty good. I usually don't like pad thai because it's too sweet. but ruen pair has made a great job to balance all sweet and hearty aromes. serve is always good here. eating is something on the more expensive side (for Asian food). but they do not have to deal with la traffic and go to hollywood for an authentic experience. we are blessed to have such a big restaurant here in 626."
