"I love the dead and was thrilled when I saw that there was a new vegan kitchen open. when the pub was opened again, we booked a table with a meal of burger, side and two drinks for about $40. the portobello burger was delicious with its delicious, creamy mayo, but unfortunately the hollowed tofu burger was a little common and only tasted by soy sauce. we had the garlic bread as one of our sides and it was really good. I also ordered the broccolini as a healthy option, and it was good, but not much more than that, and it came with a disposable plastic fork. the piece sizes were not huge, but in the dinge scheme the prices were not inappropriate."

"Overall, we had a great time at Easey's. The food was great, burgs and beers, what else can you ask for. The service was really friendly and vibe was easygoing. If the weather was a tiny bit warmer, I would've loved to sit outside. Really cool concept of the rooftop trains as well. Bit of a drive to Collingwood but it is a good burger joint to visit if you are in the area. We had specifically chosen to eat at Easey's because of their limited edition FOMO burger fried chicken and poutine mashies) but sadly it was sold out for the day. Instead we opted for our server's favourite burger: Louisiana Fried Chicken Sandwich $15). It was Southern Fried Chicken, Bacon, American Cheddar, Slaw Spicy Aioli which they kindly switched out to Ranch as per our request. God, ranch is just so bomb. This was a great burger, with a great composition of flavours. The chicken itself was coated with a lovely spice. Just yum."

"Even at the lunch break on Friday, the staff in Tonkin were quick, friendly and just got me a seat, friendly enough to move a part of a reserved shield down. I chose the lunch contract (one main (pho or bún) and either two sides or one side and one drink, all for $16). I got the Pho with grilled vegan duck and got a side of Tofu dengaku and also a black Vietnamese ice cream coffee because I love strong, bitter coffee. Very quickly my drink and head arrived, and the employee asked me if I wanted some lemon and chili for the Pho. This little addition was a nice touch, both to customer service and to the dish, as the lemon strengthened the taste of the broth, which although tasty was not as strong as others I had. However, this was done with the delicious Mock duck, Enoki mushrooms and generous portion of noodles. This was an apparently endless bowl of the Pho, but pleasantly so. The Tofu Dengaku was also exquisite, the tofu light and fluffy, but still a bit crispy, and the misery and mustard tones that were immersed added a beautiful taste and texture. The black Vietnamese coffee was bitter, as I like it, but also had a pleasant, toasty, almost chocolatey aftertaste, which I also enjoyed very much. Not only was this meal great value, all employees were nice, friendly and very committed, and the service was prompt."
