"Small place (3 tables, no staff), you are made great by the nice owner who cook the delicious meals themselves. We had the lasagna and the burgers, along with local organic beers that were all great. Special mention of good music in the background."

"The most delicious Indian food I have ever eaten! The first and thus oldest Indian restaurant in Kyoto and you can really taste how much passion goes into the cooking and everything is a feast for the eye. The staff is very friendly and the kind owner very passionate about the Indian cuisine. I got their recommended dish and through this way I learned how to eat Indian cuisine the way it is intended. Everything was so delicious and I had many things to try from the Thali dishes, mixing all the flavours together with the fragrant basmati rice, roti and naan. I would definitely recommend this place when you are looking for a break from Japanese food and want a flavour feast."

"Owner is super nice and even gives yiu recommendations on sightseeing spots. One vegan ramen dish and the gyoza can also be vegan. It's a nice thing to do if you are sightseeing in kyoto, they even take a video of you while they set it on fire. (8/24 don't know why it currently states its temporary closed, opening hours are correct to the ones you find on Google."

"Huge selection of all types of gyozas! strains by veggie and I even think vegan options as well as something for everyone. the personal is also really amazing, super friendly, speak good English and create a fun atmosphere in the restaurant. we had a bare seat that was fantastic because they can see that they prepare everything. highly recommended!"

"Super thick ramen broth. Delicious noodles. They play fun music (Michael Jackson) and the prices are extremely reasonable considering its location right in the heart of Kyoto. Seats about 15 so be prepared to wait if it's busy. The ramen broth was so full of flavor. I got the chashu over rice bowl for ¥350 and it was the perfect little bowl to fill me up. Matt got their chashu ramen and my goodness was it delicious. I used his leftover ramen broth to add more flavor to my rice. Cash only. Use the ticket vending machine to create a meal ticket and hand it to the chef. Food came out in 5 minutes, very quick. They serve you water without asking for it, they must know we're thirsty in this heat. All things on the menu were about ¥1000 or less. We got cold sake for ¥450, came in two tall shot glasses to sip on. Toilet available"
