"Really nice, somewhat quirky mexican restaurant. The food is very good. The drinks list is limited, but you will find something to accompany your meal. The meals are good portions and reasonably priced. The staff are great, friendly and helpful. They made sure we were warm enough with gas heaters keeping at the right temp. Other nice touches included that the side plates came out warm ready for sharing of the food. The half chicken was sensational."

"We had an awesome lunch at Mamasan on Sunday. The food was on game and the drinks were on the table minutes after we ordered. Our edamame came out perfectly timed with our beers which seems like a rare occurrence on the Gold Coast. We ordered the ocean trout sashimi, wagyu bao, chicken wings and beef tataki salad. All were lovely but the korean fried wings were definitely my favourite despite being one of the messiest things I've ever eaten. The ocean trout was also amazing, the ponzu dressing made the fish roe so tasty I had to eat all of them. The staff were all sensational, very friendly and attentive. One staff member definitely had ninja training, I didn't even see her approaching. Recommended!"

"Love this place I always go there when I’m here, love the staff , the service and the meals are great value.... but tonight I was very disappointed and angry. I went to order my meal, and I was asked by the gentleman to put on a mask. I am exempt and upon entering this establishment I was asked as well and said I was exempt as I have many times before and have never been questioned but when I wanted to order a meal for myself and my husband That was a different story. I told him I was exempt and he asked to see my exemption! I told him I didn’t have to show him and that he was not allowed to ask , to which he said he is... I politely removed myself without ordering and left....... He has no idea what or why I have an exemption and it’s none of his business as it’s private medical information.... I am disappointed but didn’t report this to staff members as I want to keep going there as I enjoy this place but I will not be eating there again ......"

"We loved our Baskk experience so much we came back again 2 nights later and brought my parents. The staff were friendly and professional. The cocktails were pretty fabulous and there was a great wine selection. Every dish was really tasty. We’re from Sydney and eat out quite a bit but this meal was the best we’d had for a long time."
