"Am I being critical? Absolutely. For the price, yeah I'm discerning. Food was good I guess, but wasn't my favorite. The cuisine is focussed on presenting a few ingredients well, which is great, or me and that's fine. As opposed to having an assigned waiter we were served by a variety of folks, which meant our food wasn't always brought to the table at the same time. It just felt awkward to get my food while my mother in law, whom were there celebrating, was sat waiting for a couple minutes. I just expected more attention paid to that at this expensive fine of a dining experience. My biggest complaints are the space itself. Seated where we were, the music was loud and it seems like it was loud elsewhere too because the entire crowd seemed to be stuck competing with the music to have conversations. In addition, theres an entire drink prep area out in the dining area that also added to the din. And when I went to the bathroom to have a second of peace, I was followed by the music. The quietest spot in the place ended up being the wine cellar room. And to be clear there wasn't anything wrong with the food. It's just, when the quietest part of the night is when the chef is projecting his voice and talking to all of the guests, it was disconcerting to come outside and realize how loud it really was in there. It felt like I was at a comedy club volume wise. It killed it for me... hence this godforsaken review, that's just for my own edification. And I'm only being this critical because of the price for the experience. If you read this far, thank you for coming to my TED talk. "For my money, this is easily top 3 burritos in the Sacramento area. Tasty and flavorful, with speed and efficiency. This place does business, but never has us waiting long. They have a small app that makes ordering to-go really simple. Their breakfast burritos are good too. Definitely recommend!"

"You know how to use your In n Out fries Animal style, but unfortunately they are still the same garbage Styrofoam quality fries? You're lucky. Zoo Fries at Willie 's are your dreams true. Actual French french with all blows. The burgers are classic smash burgers with or without chili. Shakes are legit. Pro-Tip: the towel dispenser on the wall is there instead of a napkin dispenser."
