"Sunday lunch short menus but something for every taste. started with the calamari cooked superbly served with a fresh rocket salad fresh dressing. Calamari itself was soft and melted in the mouth beneath a crunchy peppered batter. main course we had rooast beef, must say...not the usual carvery! roast potatoes crunchy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside, vegetables was cooked to perfection cauliflower cheese, creamed swede, roasted parsnip roasted carrots, brocolli and cabbage, cuts of beef very thick with stuffing ball and pigs in blanket well its nearly Christmas) topped with a huge light yorkshire pudding with lashings of thick gravy. the food came to us piping hot. staff were polite, pleasant and very attentive but not intrusive. Will definately be coming back and I will ask for the upstairs table with the view of the harbour, which the kind staff took us on a guided tour. Thank you for a memorable meal."

"Disabled entry bad had to go over gravel , weeds to get to slope with wheelchair . Chap behind bar not very welcoming. Something was missing inside very empty looking Member of family wanted a cup of tea. He said machine broke , you could ask waitress to put kettle on to make a cup. Asked her had a funny look off her. She did put kettle on but we never received it. glad we hadn't paid for it. Didn't feel like eating there once we sat down with drinks. Won't be going back or recommending it to anyone. Outside photos of garden is nothing like it is, full of weeds."
