"I went in with my mom and sister to celebrate an accomplishment, we have never tried it and thought restaurant week was the best time do so. We got sat and was assigned a server named Clayton. I could tell we lost his interest as soon as we said we didn’t want wine and that water was just fine. I don’t drink and my mom and sister needed to drive home so that’s why they chose not to drink. Clayton was visibly annoyed but served us water. We looked over the one restaurant week menu that they gave us, mind you he walked by several times glancing at us while we all huddled up looking at the one restaurant week menu without stopping to offer an extra two menus or allowing me to stop him. Unless I am wrong and it’s one menu per table? But no a group a ladies came in and were given each a restaurant menu of course it was a diff server but they were quite loud and close by so we can definitely confirm it was the restaurant menu they were given. I did choose “experience” under the reservation I don’t know if that doesn’t connect with the restaurant but it’s alright I still hoped our server would at least try to explain the restaurant week menu or ask if we were going to order from the normal menu or restaurant week menu? Once Clayton made their way back to ask about our order I advised we would be ordering from the restaurant week menu and I asked some questions which they answered but was again visibly annoyed. I was honestly confused…? So was my mom and my sister… we all felt an off behavior from the server. Everything and everyone else was very sweet and great… I’ve come to the conclusion that since this is a high end restaurant the server really expects all customers to spend a certain amount of money and once we said no to alcohol he lost money there and then we said “restaurant week menu” where I’m sure they are annoyed with because they most likely think “I’m not gonna make a lot of money from them there’s no reason to care that much” Pros: the trout was AMAZING!!"
