PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE FOR ANY PARTIES, AND DO NOT FLATTEN THE SUGAR COATED WORDS OF SHELLY GREYWAL. ORGANIZING A PARTY IN THIS RESTAURANT IS AS GOOD AS YOU ARE PAYING TOO MUCH MONEY AND INSULTING THE GUEST BY NOT FEEDING THEM PROPERLY AND MAKING THEM TO PAY UNWANTED CAR PARKING CHARGE FOR THE WORST TREATMENT.<br>
This is how the hotel management utilized the situation of party and made good profit out of the party, this was a clear game well organized by Shelly, as she didn’t come on that day after analyzing all these we came to the below conclusion of how we have been cheated while we were busy with guest<br>
1)They didn’t purposefully keep the starters in Buffet as they know that if they keep it in buffet every now and then they have to fill-in, if they serve it in table, guests and hosts cannot track of who had or who didn’t have<br>
2)Nobody keep track of how many plates of starters they served for guests, they were supplying some starters in front of hosts to make us feel that all guests have been treated well.<br>
3)Since it is a party people will come in different timings and hosts cannot track of whether they had starter or not as they will be busy in treating guests and greeting them<br>
4)They purposefully didn’t serve the expensive starters like chilly paneer and mutton kababs, hardly they served 4 to 5 plates for 65 people. Most of our guests didn’t get these and few didn’t even know that these were the starters.<br>
5)They played this cheap game for serving main course as well by not filling in the buffet tray on time, they know that if the tray is empty most of the guests will just take only whatever is available and will not wait for them to fillin.<br>
6)Told them to serve the desserts and it served very late. I had to tell the guests wait wait, they will be serving soon.<br>
As a host while organizing a party in such a reputed restaurant and paying this much amount of money per head we though we can have spent quality time with guests without bothering about the serving of food as hotel staff will be taking care everything. But it turned out to be the worst party we organized ever by making inconvenience to the guests for parking and not feeding them enough food because of the hotel owner’s cheap nasty game on profit.<br>
We paid for 65 people per head 32 $ , but they hardly served 30 people food for 65 people making our guests starved. While paying the money me and my husband were very happy as we thought we organized the best party ever and all our guest were treated like VIPs. But after we came home, few of our close friends told us what happened behind the scene while we were busy in greeting and talking with the guests. Then I called each and every guests and enquirer what they had and what they didn’t, only 4 guests out of this 65 guests got enough food and all starters, rest all got hardly 2 to three starters, one or two pieces and with less quantity of main course. <br>
So dear friends, I took 1 hour to write such a big feedback on what happened to us, so that if anybody wants to organize a party like this PLEASE DO NOT CHOOSE THIS PLACE FOR ANY PARTIES, AND DO NOT FLATTEN THE SUGAR COATED WORDS OF SHELLY GREYWALL. You will get many good restaurants for the same money with proper treatment and parking will be free. Though many of our friends warned us for this we didn’t bother and was flatten by the owner’s sugar coated words. The taste of the food was great, everybody liked it. But they didn’t get enough food to enjoy the taste which is the worst part."

"For our first time eating at Poppo we went to sit in at the restaurant after wondering around Perth not being able to decide where to eat for dinner, as per usual. After being drawn in by the choice on the menu outside we decided Poppo was tonight's dinner of choice. We were served quickly by polite staff and were very impressed with the size of the menu and variety of dishes. Although named a Korean & Japanese restaurant there were dishes from a number of cuisines, with something to suit everyone's tastes. Korean/Japanese was just fine by me though, going straight for the assorted sashimi starter and spicy squid and vegetables for main. The sashimi was excellent, the colours were so vibrant which was reflected in the amazing fresh taste of each piece of fish, salmon, kingfish, tuna and octopus which were all fantastic. The main was a hefty portion for the price and was very tasty, the squid was well cooked and vegetables still had the crunch which I love.We were definitely surprised by this little restaurant, especially the price of our meal, all up around $40 including drinks which for Perth is very cheap! After this visit we went on to discover that Poppo is also on Deliveroo, which was probably a bad idea as we now have it at least once a week! Standouts dishes from the takeaway menu are the chilli chicken which is ridiculously good, and the kimchi and pork soup which is my personal favourite. For dine in or takeaway this little CBD gem is a must try!"

"4 people behind the bar, other customers wait for coffee take. 10 minutes for my heated (aka microwave) croissant to come. I don't owe the barista how he was pretty fast, but in consideration of the earlier reviews he needs time, I wish I read them before I went in. do not worry about this place! and the decor is gland that I miss the old French caffe feeling"

"Separate food and food service. are they under new management or what? the menu we had tonight was completely different from zomato. <br/>The new menu has only some chicken dishes and some typical Korean dishes, but the price. I thought I was in a star restaurant. <br/>We had spicy chicken and we disappointed with the food content, much less the half of the dishes are rice cake. <br/>Not recommended."

"A bit rush evening so we did takeaway not dine-in, and ordered Pad Thai and Fried Rice, they were delicious and spicy, a lot of other Asian food choices were also available. The location is strategic at Forest Chase at the centre of CBD, next to Perth Train Stations, not too far from Water Fountain Labyrinth. So, everything was good.One that a bit confusing is the posted address on this review, which is completely different with the actual location of this restaurant, the actual current address according to its website is Shop 24/24a 200 Murray Street Perth WA 6000, at the ground floor of Forrest Chase Mall, opposite of Perth Train Station."

"Unfortunately I have to give this a poor rating.1) Lunch buffet is $10.95 for a poor selection of 6 dishes- 2x Rice- 1 Dhal (Lentils)- 1 Vegetable Dish- 1 Fried Chicken Wings- 1 Fish CurryThat's not a very good choice of dishes nor was it authentic nepalese. There were no desserts or drinks included either.2) Drink cans were additional $2.50 but there was only Coke Zero, Fanta Orange or Sprite.Naan's were separate $2 per Naan not include in the buffet.3) A walk in Buffet + Drink would cost $13.45.We bought Groupons for $13 each without knowing there wouldn't be any real savings .4) Dishes were dirty, with dried dhal stains on the forks not properly washed. The floor tiles were oily and slippery."
