"The more I think about this place the better I like it. This cafe was at the bottom of the Monsoon Palace hill. It is definitely a go to if you are headed there.<br/ <br/ Interiors: It's like a rustic cottage with stone walls which give it a very quaint look. They have some classic rock art on the walls. Tables are sufficiently spaced. But they do not have air conditioning.<br/ <br/ Food and Drinks:<br/ 1. Lime Soda: This was my go to survival drink through the entire Udaipur trip. It was a good line soda, loved the jar they served it in.<br/ <br/ 2. Dal Makhni: Their Dal Makhni was not the standard black Dal makhni. It had a Rajasthani twist to it. But it tasted so good. Absolutely amazing.<br/ <br/ 3. Missi Roti: I am a little biased towards the Dal makhni and Missi Roti combo. Theirs was hands down one of the best Missi rotis I have had. Perfect amount of crisp, butter and thickness.<br/ <br/ 4. Garlic Naan: it tasted good too.<br/ <br/ Ambience: So the ambience is quite comfortable. They have a classic rock playing at the absolute perfect volume.<br/ <br/ Service: The service was great. They serve you with a smile which is always a plus. The waiter was helpful and patient.<br/ <br/ Seating: Comfortable seating with tables at reasonable distance from each other. They have both Indoor and outdoor seating.<br/ <br/ Would definitely recommend this place. The only thing that was a let down was the air conditioning and absence of fans.<br/"

"The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. I especially enjoyed the Parle G baked Mango Cheesecake (part of the Aam Festival) along with that had Veg Fajitas and Vietnamese Spring Roll.Overall a well-prepared delectable meal with great presentation and an interesting flavor I’ve never experienced before.Would highly recommend this place."

"Govinda's is right in front of the City Palace and serves really good things at affordable prices. They offer a wide range of delicacies. Very courteous staff and super fast service. The pizzas, pancakes and coffee are very good. Must visit whenever in Udaipur. Deduction of a brand for the not-so-chic ambience, otherwise a favorite whenever in Udaipur."
