"I have visited a lot of Hakka restaurants and this is definitely one of the best in Mississauga. It is a small restaurant with seating available! All of the food I have ordered has been delicious and the food doesn't usually take too long to...come out. The lollipop chicken, fried rice and lo mein are delicious. I plan to return!"

"Charminar, the name is originally a name of a place in South India.This restaurant really brought my experience of Indian food in non-Indian places to life.It offers a wide variety of Indian cuisines, South Indian, North Indian, and more!Even if you live faraway, the long drive to Charminar Indian Cuisine is extremely worth it!The staff is wonderful, and the food is delivered quickly! The ambience is gorgeous, a beautiful blue and gold elegant theme!Speaking of food, the food here is simply scrumptious! Your taste buds will be jumping with joy once you take even a single bite out of the food. Many other Indian restaurants serve hard and rubbery naans, but Charminar’s naans are soft, and delicious!As for the starters, I highly recommend the Vegetarian Manchuria. As I am a vegetarian, I do not know how the Non-Vegetarian foods are. A similar problem that fellow vegetarians share is that it is hard to find a good restaurant that serves a variety of vegetarian options. Look no further! Charminar is the place to be! The Manchuria is really crunchy, and cauliflower based. The sauce has a sweet and spicy finish to it, and the plating is very professional. The Daal Makhani, which is what we ordered for the main course, simply melts in your mouth! There is a splash of flavor in every morsel! The Vegetarian Biryani is also amazing! It is full of taste! Finally, for dessert, we ordered a bowl containing two Gulab Jamuns. I will admit, I have never tasted such a delightful Gulab Jamun made in a non-Indian place before! It is sweet, soft, and served hot, just like all the other food!The wait time was 15 minutes, and they really surprised us with a spectacular lunch!Overall, Charminar Indian Cuisine deserves 5 Stars, if not more, and I definitely recommend!"

"Went there after a long time. Was pleasantly surprised with the food and the service. I am a little concerned to see reviews from other customers which seem to be all over the place. Maybe its the individual servers? My wife is very picky but she loved the food here! For those who are not aware, this place is a Hakka Chinese restt which means it is Chinese cuisine prepared by Chinese Immigrants from India. So it is a bit of a fusion with more flavours and slightly different usage of veggies and ingredients than the more traditional restts. We found the service fast and efficient, if a little patchy, sometimes we had to repeat instructions twice, the servers are all very young student types working on a pittance. Their salt and pepper prawns were awesome, and the fried rice great, not as colored and drowned in soya sauce as the others. Their crispy Hunan beef is quite different from the Eddie's or Chilli Chicken house. Not bad but not as good. Prices are reasonable and overall a good experience. We will definitely go back again."

"First time try Annalakshmi, we went in early for a brunch and the place was empty. Non the less food was fresh and delicious. Tried a bunch of items. Love that the tea does not come with sugar in it by default, unlike other places. The dosas were were crispy and the sambar was fantastic. Will visit again for sure."
