"Was there for a quick vegetarian & vegan lunch with some friends. We told the waiters from the beginning that we were in a hurry, they assured us there'll be no problem and so it was: the food (mostly salads and entrees) came short after, so I'd give an A for this. Regarding the service, I'd give less though for how the waiters - about 4 of them (the restaurant was almost empty except for us) - were like staring at us while we were eating - I understand they wanted to catch any need we might have had, but this is not the way: it felt strange and uncomfortable.The food was tasty, maybe not the best Lebanese I've had though, and I suspect there was sugar in some or most of the dishes since they were sweeter than what I'm used with (it's worth asking in advance). The place had a clear oriental touch, and - maybe because of this, or I can't identify why - felt a bit unclean to me, although I didn't clearly see why this would be."

"My wife and I heard about Tuk Tuk through friends that are regulars and custom to south East Asian cuisine, having been to Thailand three times our visit brought back nostalgic memories of our honeymoon The small yet cosy restaurant with super tasty food and...warm service was a perfect fine in Bucharest where the options of Asian taste is as close as you can get to the real thing We had Tom yum with prawns, tamarind fish and drunken noodle with beef and finished with Thai Roti, all was perfect ! The right balance of sour spicy salty sweet that you would expect from this cuisine which is rare to find in other Asian restaurants around Bucharest Ps. they even have both Chang and Sigha beers ! Prices are not cheap but you get what you paid for considering that most of the essential ingredients are imported Will definitely will return and looking forward to take that step down memory lane again"

"Printed menu stays fixed. Some times they add a sheet of paper either with lunch menu options for fixed price or chef’s recommendations or just some courses that are best suitable for lunch, not necessary Mexican. I believe that they are experimenting and checking what works best to get more customersThe printed menu contains usually Mexican food and being close to the place I work I had plenty of opportunities to try the various options.By far, my preferred is lamb burrito. I also liked Chilli con carne as well as flautes (a flour tortilla that is rolled up around a filling of chicken and other vegetables and cheese and fried)There is also corn soup to try. I tried the fajitas and a dish called don taco (same as the restaurant) and I remember those being quite spicyIn terms of the venue it is not the most inspiring. Nevertheless for lunch on the terrace on a nice weather day is very pleasant.Service is generally ok"

"The location is very nice, the staff is also nice but the food is exaggeratedly expensive for what it represents and has nothing special. Desserts are very bad, without any taste, also, too expensive. I am dissapointed!"

"In El Bacha you can find very tasty and healthy prepared lebanese food. It is a nice, big and clean restaurant with a big variety of cold and warm apettizers, salads, grill dishes or cooked ones. I strongly recommand!"

"I have been here so many times that I can't remember. Nice restaurant, good food, a place where you can eat and talk with a medium budget. Clean and with a flavour of an interbelic restaurant. Very good fried mushrooms and fried chilli-peppers with garlic sauce. I recommend."

"The restaurant is small, always full so make a reservation in advance. It is in a select area close to Victoria Square, top residential/embassy area. The food is very very good and the waiters are very friendly and speak perfect English. Good value for money. Definitely a must when visiting Bucharest"

"Small restaurant tucked away down a side street. Made very welcome from the time we entered until departure. Limited menu, although very intersting. Our friends had the Supa Linte and we had the Carpaccio Peste, all dishes were excellent. To follow 2 Creveti cu Legume and a Filet de Salau and a Dorada, again nicely presented, hot and quite delicious, to follow a chocolate and chilli Ice cream and a Apricot tart with cognac and vanilla. Cappuccino and expresso to finish. A good bottle of white to start followed by a red. Total cost 588.00 Lei - about 30 pound per head."
