"Food was reasonable. Nothing I would recommend as great. No air con on a 35 degree day and no window cross flow, no fans and a well stoked up wood fired pizza oven making the atmosphere almost unbearable. Service was quite poor. Staff were hot and bothered and cared little about bringing drinks and orders out in satisfactory times. Meal: Ok.They say they cater for dietary requirements but none are shown on their website or menu. I spoke to chef and had a Gluten Free pizza base with toppings to meet my dietary needs. It was quite nice. We had a big gathering of 18 people and other guests food, including that of several children aged 8-15, were of a good standard. My partners meal of steak had a fair bit of fat in it and was pretty chewy. Nothing superb but ok.Not sure if any other dietary requirements can be catered for as nothing listed on menu, GF pizza base not even stated despite being available.Atmosphere: Stifling & Unbearable!! It was a 35 degree afternoon and upon arrival it was still incredibly hot and humid. Waitress said no air conditioning but a/c ducts could be clearly seen around the roof of the restaurant.The restaurant has only windows on one side of the building so no cross flow was possible throughout and no fans were inside at all but a big wood fired pizza oven was running towards the back. It was stifling and a terrible experience as we spent the entire meal red faced and with sweat running off us. Customers were fanning themselves & going to stand outside at every chance they got to try and escape the incredible heat. One couple left disgusted, very red faced with a small baby who was screaming saying how appalling the conditions were and they could not stay any longer. One of the guests at our table commented on the dramatic temperature inside the restaurant to a waitress who rolled her eyes and commented that yes they could feel it too!Service: Terrible! After arriving the bottles of table water were quickly emptied and we waited 40 minutes for more water to be brought to the table, after asking numerous times. Another guest at our table asked for a meal with no chilli or herbs and when it was brought to the table they confirmed that this was the case. The waitresses had no idea, chatted to each other with it in their hand and then walked back to the kitchen to check. They didn't seem to know the name of most of the pizzas or meals they were bringing out. Someone at our table ordered a drink and when it was brought out but the same waitress who took the order, she stood at the end of the table and called out the drink order to see who it belonged to.We had brought a cake as it was a birthday party gathering and had to ask 4 times for it to be brought out so we could wind up the gathering and go home for a shower. The restaurant was busy but not fully booked."
