"We ordered our New Year’s Eve the previous day. When we went to collect our food they made us wait for almost two hours so we decided to leave as they wouldn’t tell us when the food would be ready. They did not apologise once....Awful attitude. They ruined our family meal. We won’t be coming back."

"We ordered a farewell to dinner and was surprised how fast the food came. Unfortunately, although it came out of some reason quickly the majority of it was cold, the chicken massamam was pretty bad best, it was cold. the chicken was chewy and overboiled and the carrot and wobble was raw. not al dente, completely raw. the garnel were gumy and the fish cakes are the most terrible fish cakes I have ever tasted, I thought I would give them the chance and complain, I asked if they could send another and even gave the one that was terrible back. Unfortunately, the second round was just as bad, I thought I'd change to beef. this made no difference, the flesh was chewing and very over boiled and again the wobbly raw and carrots raw. Now some might think it might be me, but when I saw raw, there were watery eyes, it was so bad. to avoid closing. even with a second chance and an apology from the restaurant they could still screw it up. never again."

"Beautiful local caffe, with a bit of jungle vebe (they will know what I mean when they have been there! the staff was polite and efficient, although we had picked up a time when the kitchen was closed, so could not try the ultimate cheese on toast. we were not disappointed when we put on a roll and a flat white. eating was rustic, high quality and delicious. the coffee was something of the best I ever had with a deep and rich taste. the place is quite dark, unfortunately, and looks like it needs something, but that is completely subjectiv. the toilet was clean and bright, and the atmosphere was nice and generally put back (the caffe that I mean, not specifically the toilet because that would be a bit strange. I would definitely go back for the coffee alone if I'm ever in haywards heath, which is unfortunately very unlikely."
