"Visited recently with a friend for a late breakfast. I should note the cafe is now called Geoffreys of Shetland and you can find opening times etc on facebook if you search using that name. There we several other customers in but we were served promptly and with one of the best tasting and presented cooked breakfasts I've ever had in Shetland and at a very reasonable price. Staff were attentive and friendly and I am happy to recommend this cafe to anyone. Other family members have had similarly positive experiences. Do check online as to opening times as there are some days they are not open now that we are moving into the winter season."

"We had a lovely meal last night at the Saffron restaurant during our night stay in Lerwick. There was not much open on a Sunday night so we were unsure what we were going to do for a meal. Luckily for us the Saffron...restaurant' was open and had tables available. It was nice to dine with others locals and it was busy for a random Sunday night. Always a good sign. The service was friendly and quick. In an ideal world we would have taken the recipes home so we could cook them again. If we were local, we would have it on our list for regular visits. Thank you. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in Lerwick wanting food and a good curry."
