"Wouldn't let me put zero stars. Delivery was over half an hour late. Driver and I checked the order, missing the rice, kind of important from a Chinese really. They've taken the phone off the hook, the driver hasn't returned with the rice so now I'm sat here fuming and starving on my wife's birthday. Thanks a lot for ruining what was the closest thing to excitement in the last 12 months! 2.1 stars is obviously faked reviews!"

"We had homemade soup and crusty rolls. Reasonable price and very tasty. The staff were attentive and obliging. We asked for two more rolls. Good cup of coffee too. What's not to like."

"As always a great atmosphere walking in, lovely area behind the bar, we were seated in the dining area near the kitchen. Walls, and the kitchen door were scruffy and dirty. Other doors were dirty too. The bell to alert staff is very annoying. The toilets were dirty and I couldn't get hot water, which is not good if the staff have to use them. Staff all very young and need supervision. Had to leave the table and go to the bar for another drink. The dining area was nearly empty so the staff were not busy. Food less than average. By far nicer places to eat in Ironbridge. It requires a visit from environmental health to review hygiene practices."

"When the chat turns to take away food. I have recommended Chilli Peppers to every one. Once a fortnight we order from here. The first time it was delivered, I was surprised at the price (lower than most) it came within minutes and was...piping hot. Free poppadoms and onion bargies with orders over Now ordered about half a dozen times and tried different dishes, always the same service. I recommend Chicken Ticka Balti and Buttered Chicken"

"Popped into here for a bite to eat on a Sunday lunchtime- loved the quirky look of the place and the menu was good. The service was friendly and relaxed- we ate outside which was pleasant. Food was exactly as we expected it to be...and delicious."

"I ate here recently with friends on a Saturday evening. The pub was very busy, but the service was reasonably efficient. There's a good range of pub dishes on the menu, and prices are reasonable. Portions are large, and the food is good quality."
