"Stomach full!!! A good variety in the menu. Had chilli fries for entrée Enchilada chicken single for main It was pretty good with moderate spice in it. Service was great. Might come back and try something else."

"I didn't have high expectations for this dinner but was pleasantly surprised with the outcome. The waitress was pleasant and attentive and the timing of the meals excellent. While the vegetables were fairly bland, the steak was extremely tender and tasty. Due to the nature of long slow cooking, medium rare looks more like medium to well, but don't let looks deceive you. It was good to see some interesting cocktails on the menu too."

"Was excited to try based on the selection of foods available. Went for lunch with 2 work mates. Was hard to pass up the two for one deals on lunch. Lunch was ok (chicken burgers were dry, calamari fried to a crisp), took a long time to bring out and we were the only people there. WILL NOT BE RETURNING HOWEVER, due to when we went to pay for the meals, we were told that you cannot get a two for one meal unless there is two people to eat the meals. This is not mentioned on the two for one conditions on the menu and is quite frankly a ridiculous cash grab. It shouldn't matter how many people the meals are for, the meals themselves are two for one. So even though between the 3 of us we ordered 4 meals, at pay time we had to pay for 3 of the meals rather than two. On this alone, I wouldn't ever return to this place. I suggest you don't bother either. We could have fought and made a scene, instead we just won't ever go back. PATHETIC."

"My partner and I scored a great voucher for some money towards a meal at Pepe's at Newmarket, so we booked in a weekend lunch to enjoy it. We ordered jalapeño poppers, a chimichanga each and a bucket of coronas. The jalapeño poppers have a good kick of chilli without being unbearably hot, plenty of flavour. I ordered the chicken chimichanga, which is kind of like a fried burrito, full of chicken topped with a tomato based sauce and cheese, served with rice, beans and salad. The flavours are well balanced and it was all delicious. The portions are generous, we definitely didn't walk away hungry!I have no complaints about Pepe's. I've eaten there a number of times, for breakfast, lunch and dinner - and I have every intention of going back again!"
