"Cool neighborhood gem! The food was good but the drinks were better! The tamarind margarita was my fave! The shrimp enchiladas were tasty but the rice and beans were both bland. My date got the chicken quesadilla and the portion was quite small but he said it tasted good. While I've had better Mexican food, I'd go back for the convenience."

"This is by far my favorite Mexican restaurant in NYC. The food is absolutely delicious and prepared *very* carefully. If you eat there, you'll agree it is an especially calm, clean, and tasteful place. I particularly recommend the Al Pastor burritos, andany of the seafood (including the various Camarones dishes)."

"For a vegetarian, Pedro’s turned out to be a pleasant surprise. I stopped here for a snack after a full day and ordered the nachos. They had some add-on options for meat but I of course opted out of those. The waitress who took my order noted this and offered to add mushrooms and spinach instead. Nachos are generally my go-to with Tex-Mex and places do not usually offer an option like this for vegetarians, especially without asking and without charging me any extra cost! Not to mention the veggies were very tasty and made the nachos at least slightly healthier. I wish I had taken a photo but I scarfed it all down immediately. This was some days ago but I still feel compelled to write this review!Highly recommend Pedro’s—even if you’re vegetarian like me!"
