"This place is the epitome of consistency. Your food quality is great. I love the family that runs it. Usually you see the same faces that cover the same positions, but they flow and dive everywhere as a finely tuned machine. But I must say that my absolute favorite thing in this place is that whether I am the only person there or she is stacked 20 deep from the plant that is let out, my order takes the same time no matter what. They never seem to be overwhelmed."

"Gourmet House has the best thai/vietnamese food I have ever had (especially for the price). I'm from MA but have lived in NYC for years, and I've been to many high quality, pricey restaurants, and I cannot find anywhere like it in NY (and especially not for the same prices). Every time I come home this is one of my favorite places to eat. The food is great, the staff is super nice, the prices are amazing, and it's BYOB! What more could you ask for?<br br/>PS: It's also MUCH better than Apsara's, its sister restaurant located about feet away. The food, service, and atmosphere are better and somehow it's always less crowded than Apsara's so you'll get better food for much less of a wait."
