"This will always be my favorite sushi in the city. I know it's going to be a delicious meal every time, and I always feel lucky to get a table here (and if you have to wait, you can get a glass of wine next door! . I tend to go for my favorites: the Flaming Sea Bass and the White Out, and rotate some new ones. I am never disappointed in the food, and even if I've had these rolls a hundred times, I will never get tired of them! The only reason I knocked a star off was for the almost perfect ambiance. The space is SMALL but very cozy. It's in the perfect location right on Hyde street, big windows, nice soft lighting. The one negative thing you can't ignore, though, is the Door Dashers stomping through the dining room with all their riding gear and giant thermal bags to the sushi bar to pick up their customers' orders, severely compromising the ambiance. This happens once every few minutes, and if you're unlucky enough to be sitting at an aisle table, you'll be dodging them their oversized jackets bags your whole meal. It really takes the romance and comfort out of the vibe. Couldn't they wait outside and be helped there instead? I feel like customers dining in restaurant should be the priority. If not, I will probably have to resort to Door Dashing from Elephant Sushi myself and skip dining in."
