"While visiting family in Clovis, our niece recommended El Pueblito Mexican restaurant for a late lunch on a Friday. There was 10 adults and 2 toddlers in our family group. The server was very polite and accommodating to our large group, there was literally no wait time and we sat at the back of the restaurant. Just a warning, the food served in this restaurant is very 'Americanized ' as the tacos are not true Mexican tacos but there is shredded jack cheese on them. If you are vegetarian, the chef may get your order wrong (happened to two of our family members). The food is decent and the portion sizes are very large, our local family all ate the food and they liked it. If you are accustomed to authentic Mexican food, this may not be the spot for you. The staff was incredibly polite, friendly and accommodating in getting the right food back on the table for the vegetarian family members. We didn 't have to wait very long for our meals and the total tab including the servers tip was very reasonable considering our large group and the mess left behind by the little ones."

"Every time I walk into Hacienda Tequilas I feel like I’m on vacation in Mexico. It’s dining area is very vibrant full of colorful decor. I invited a friend for lunch she loved it. So it’s a double win for us. My friend ordered chicken enchiladas with rice beans. I ordered one shredded beef enchilada with a chile relleno with rice and beans. We didn’t feel like drinking hard alcohol so we ordered a couple of bud lights. Something light, refreshing, and cold to relax and enjoy our girls lunch gathering. The cabbage salsa is a delicious appetizer. Not to spicy not too mild. The cabbage salsa has just the right amount of spice. The red salsa was too watery so I didn’t find it appealing. It’s was mild as well. Chips were fresh crispy. Service was fast very attentive. Definitely will visit again. Next time we’ll be ready to have more cocktails. Overall it was a very pleasant lunch on a Friday afternoon."

"The food quality was good especially for the price point. The service was average, although my server did not have a sense of urgency. The music in the restaurant was a distraction. It is a radio station with a lot of static and commercials. I would recommend and come back to eat, with the mindset of the above. I ordered fajitas (chicken and steak) with corn tortillas and again it was good."

"This is a fav item in our home. This order was really disappointing. The nachos were all chips an pretty much nothing else. No beans and the meat was literally counted. I asked for some habanero and red salsa and did not get any."

"Tonight was our first time here and must say that i am so happy to have found this wonderful Mexican restaurant. The service was excellent and staff attentive and friendly. Margaritas were fantastic and not made with a bottled mix, bloody Mary's are strong! Chips are thin, crisp, fresh and wonderfully seasoned and are served with flavorful salsa that has a nice little kick. The carne asada dinner was a thumbs up with nicely seared carne asada, grilled veggies, and delicious rice and beans. The seafood chili rellano was very good as well and liked that the chili was not battered and fried. Pozole soup was fantastic, however the Albondigas was not good. I understand the veggies in the soup should not be mushy but very firm and undercooked potatoes and carrot pieces are not good either. Also the albondigas were under seasoned and bland and pretty expensive for the amount of soup you get on a small order. $8.50 for about 1.5c of soup) Our order of 1 Margarita-1 Carne Asada dinner-1 Seafood chili relleno dinner-1 small Pozole soup-1 small albondigas soup was $63.81 before tip."
