"Slow to be seated even though it was empty. Ordered the sirloin medium rare came out more rare but I can live with that. What I cant forgive is not trimming the tendon out of a 38.00 steak. You could go to any chain steakhouse and get a better steak. Wife had a tiny filet and potato cake and one drink, bill was 93.00. Huge disappointment and will never return."

"Late back from work commitments, it was such a pleasure to order my meal each night of the 2 night stay, and have it promptly served.I didn't feel rushed, but was keen to finish the day.Great special of 2 courses for $42, I could not have managed the 3 for $49!First night - amazing bruschetta, followed by chicken stuffed with spinach and prawns served on Asian style noodles, vegetables - YUM!Second night - salt and pepper calamari and prawns with a lovely dipping sauce. I did want the sirloin, unfortunately they were out. The pork cutlet with apple and green chilli chutney, potato smash and calvados jus was nice.Would stay here to enjoy the meals and service again!"

"I'm urging a diner from her club sandwich because I think if they can't get it right, then everything else is probably not great either. The main sandwich was that dry hard bacon fell out everywhere. It was really difficult to eat. I felt overloaded for the sandwich and was even charged too much for additional chips for my son. Besides, they only seem to be open in the morning and have lunch. This is a shame, because I'd like to go to the diner at night. Maybe the rest of their food is great, but not with one of my favorite foods. I never write reviews, but felt like you needed a wake up call. I don't expect a good meal in a diner, but I expect a decent sandwich."
