"A surprising find on a Saturday night in Ballina. Pretty much THE only place in town open after 7 pm where we could find veg food (we arrived 5 minutes before they closed the kitchen at 8 pm). The staff clearly knew the vegan food options on the menu and guided us quickly to order our food. I ordered the vegan Buddha burger and it came with the usual dry kind of RSL chips. The food was okay, nothing remarkable. The pattie in the burger tasted like meat and had a texture like meat so if you're into that kind of thing, you would appreciate this kind of food. They have made an obvious effort to accommodate vegetarians and vegans with choices on their menu."

"Just ordered two fish burgers, chips and jalapeño poppers and the burger had a great coleslaw on it (though needed more tartare) and chips were awesome! Crispy on the outside but super fluffy in. The poppers were huge and delicious. Thank you. Service: Take out Meal type: Lunch"

"Excellent everything. the fish chips are great (calamari was not terribly aromatic, but that is what the weain sauce is, right? the pizzas are perfect, thin, crispy basic fat juicy prawns beautiful a young! and best t of all, really friendly efficient service, so many cafe’s forget that this is the most important ingredient of all."

"The beautiful dame that works this morning on the first window, only wants to give a scream (no 6. april about 11 o'clock). despite the busy journey thru was, she served us with the polite manage and with a smile on her face, which was really nice. great customer service! I didn't get their names, but if someone who works there reads and knows what I'm talking about, tell her that she's doing a great job! oh, and who did my icy chai on this day, it's right, so whoever that was, keep it up!"

"Today first visit here, second for my man, after traveling from queensland for the day. we had weathering, calamari, chips and homemade tartaric acid sauce, all with very friendly service. eating was excellent, not oily, perfectly cooked, probably the best calamari I had from a fish and chip counter. will definitely be back."
