"Had to essentially ask to be served despite it not being busy at all….asked if I could have crusty bread was available, was told it was, but was just regular bread…and whilst I went “off menu”, what was basically a “brunch grill” anywhere else at most cafes, was charged at nearly £15 with the 2 slices and a couple of cans of soda……with a full charge for chips, but receiving just a handful…..and clearly the term “very well done bacon” was not a concept the server was used to…..very disappointed…won’t be back."

"Ordered a chow mein without onions as due to being pregnant it causes bad heartburn. Guess what.... turned up with onion. Now not just a little onion but the most onion I have ever seen. I started picking it out but gave up in the end as it went cold. Won’t be ordering from here again!!!!!"

"Popped in here for a takeaway fish and chips a few times recently. The fish is always ready and crisping which is great as there’s hardly any wait time. The fish is always good and big portions too, definitely worth a visit"

"This restaurant is inside the Sidcup Premier Inn, but is open to the general public. The advertised evening opening time is 18:00 and I arrived 5 minutes after that and the sign still said Closed. There was no one around and the receptionist was busy booking in new visitors. When she had finished, she came over, changed the sign to Please Wait Here and showed me to a table. I appeared to be the first to be seated, although others were sitting having got drinks. She took my order (a special offer meal deal of 2 courses and drink plus breakfast the following morning for a fixed price))and brought the drink I had ordered and then returned to the Reception Desk. I believe a bell or something similar rang and she then went to the kitchen and brought my starter. A young gentleman then turned up to help and between them they handled Reception; taking order; delivering drinks and food; clearing away dishes and taking payments. The restaurant started filling up and Reception became quite busy leading to lengthy delays. Why was there not more staff on duty on a Friday evening ? The two members of staff were doing their best, but Management should have ensured their were more staff available. The service rating below reflects the overall stafing level and not the efforts of the sterling service given by the one and a half staff members who were working so hard. Having said that they were very pleasurable and the food, when delivered was good and well presented. I also had breakfast the standard Premier Inn buffet breakfast and I arrived about 15 minutes after 7am, the weekend opening time. Although early, some of the cooked food was just warm and others curling at the edges a general problem with a buffet. There appeared to be sufficient helpfful staff one even mending the grill which was not working properly."
