"Great place. Fajita quesadillas are absolutely amazing. And $3 margaritas are great. Bodentaco meat was not so good, but everything else was great. If you are not sure what you cannot go wrong with the fajita quesadillas. Got the special for $6 and was a very big part."

"I've eaten twice here. Excellent meals both times. prefer the hummus via the babaghanoush personally, just a texture thing. Both taste good. The chips are amazing trying them out. Fair prices, friendly staff and the owner seems really nice and cares for the customers."

"Mi Mexico has been in Clive for a looong time now. I hadn't been there in years, since there are much more convenient options for me where I live. My favorite dining companion though, had never been. We visited for lunch. My dining companion settled on the Camarones a la Diabla, and I went with the lunch portion of chicken fajitas. You of course also get the customary chips and salsa. We always ask for the spicier salsa. Typically this is a roasted Salsa Rojo at most Mexican restaurants. In the case of MI Mexico, it was a roasted Salsa Verde...and boy was it good! Normally Verdes are a bit milder in heat, but not this one. It had a delightful level of heat. We ended up buying a to go portion of it because it was just that good! Back to the entrees. The fajitas were great despite being the smaller lunch portion, it was still a pretty sizable plate of food. The flavor was good, the tortillas were hot and fresh. My favorite dining companion loved her shrimp dish, and took all the leftovers from both our entrees home. We also both got margaritas. I opted for the classic: lime margarita on the rocks. My dining companion opted for a blended peach margarita. Both were very good. I had to get a refill because it just went so well with the meal. Overall I was very happy with Mi Mexico, as was my dining companion. I will have to stop in again soon. I need to try their carnitas, which is another favorite Mexican dish of mine. Highly recommended overall."

"Called ahead for our group of 15 on a Sat. evening and they had a table ready for us. Caring, attentive staff made sure we were satisfied. Food came out incredibly fast. Delicious and huge portions. Very reasonably priced. Definitely will be back! Get the carnitas--absolutely massive portion, could literally be 3 meals. And the Texas dip is good too!"

"This place is pretty good. No wait during the busiest part of the night on taco Tuesday. Got right in, ordered right away and food was out promptly and that was the best part. The food was not bad, not really good, but not bad. Got the fajitas with steak, chicken, shrimp. The salsa is not that good, but it's ok."
