"One of the worst pizzas we had in a long time. Low quality dough, cheese and toppings. Way to much cheese and the ham is awful. Bad really bad. Still trying to find a good pizza around this area"

"Restaurant called blue and orange is the only restaurant I go to in Thornton Heath area because it's very clean hygenic extremely great customer service delicious meals and great choice of food and drinks especially cocktails. no matter what you order you can't go wrong. "There are so many chippies in UK that competition is fierce yet strangely there are not many chippies in Croydon town.<br/>While I was taking a walk to down Cherry Orchard I discovered Mr Chippy which specializes in fish and chips.<br/>I didn't try them on my first visit because I already had a commitment for dinner but I was impressed with the guys because when I asked about chicken, they said a fresh batch was coming out.<br/>I just knew this place was going to be good because I love their genuine endeavours serving the best to customers so I can understand why they were featured on Channel Food unwrapped.<br/>Went back a week later for some food and tried the chips with chicken, spicy wings, Southern fried fish bites and a regular battered fish bite.<br/>The fish bites were really surprising because I was expecting small pieces but they were fish tails which are my favourite part of the fish so next time I'm going to order it again.<br/>The amazing thing was that after a walk home, the fish batter was still light and crispy.<br/>However I couldn't quite taste the difference between the battered and Southern coating (non spicy) because they were quite similar, but anyway I'll be back for them so will get the spicy one next time.<br/>They also have grilled fish too.<br/>As well as the fish, the chips were also the star of the show, just how I like them ie not greasy.<br/>You can always tell if a chip is good visually and by taste, well I can because my tastebuds are sensitive and also by smell because there isn't a greasy smell from the chips or in the shop.<br/>The spicy wings were similar to the ones you get from the chicken shop but there was an extra tikka kick to it.<br/>After finishing the food, I still felt hungry which is a sign of a good chippy because it doesn't leave you bloated.<br/>Overall, highly recommended if you are in the area.<br/>I can't wait until lockdown is over because I'd rather dine it."

"Linda and I visited this newly opened restaurant on a recommendation from a friend. Linda had the White Bait for a starter..and as a Fishaholic Linda pronounced that this was the best White Bait that she had ever had...and they did not Skimp on the...portions!!! I started with the mussels from New Zealand, very nice but very few!...On to the main course......for Linda a whole sea bass and for me......a rack of lamb. What can I say....other than....it might not be cheap....but absolutely delicious!! The staff are friendly, informative and efficient. I took the opportunity to ask for the managers name, Amar Tanna. Mr. Tanna, you have done a great job!"

"Been using Danny’s for as long as he’s been there! Before being diagnosed as coeliac I used to have normal fish and chips ! Then thank god Danny started doing gluten free on a Monday and because it was so popular he does it 6 days a week and I am so grateful I live on the door step to delicious good"

"This used to be my favourite fish chip shop, always freshly cooked with friendly and good service but, unfortunately, they seem to have changed hands and both the quality and service have plummeted. I spoke with a friend today who was even more of a regular than I am and he’s stopped going there. A great shame I hope they might get better."

"One of the best cafes in Croydon. I love the Mediterranean breakfast!!, always helpful, only downside is parking is a pain (it's Croydon, what do you expect). Staff are helpful, service is good, can be slow but only because it gets really busy in this cafe so choose your arrival time carefully, i am a strong believer if locals and builder use a cafe it must be good."
