"We called in Saturday night for quick meal after beach. The front doors were locked! it was 20.00? The shop was busy and there were people waiting for their orders. There were lots of staff inside, all chatting and goofing about behind the counter. No one came to assist us. Another lady turned up and made her way in through the exit and got served so we followed suit. Got our order after a wait. Got to car and just checking as orders are often wrong from Harlees, and surprise surprise it was the wrong order. We took it back in and the girl behind the counter tried to give it to the man who had ordered! I said He should have fresh food we 've had our hands in that She seemed annoyed and grunted You 'll have to wait at him! No apology or anything. Then she gave us our Correct order which we again checked and this time it was missing a jumbo sausage. Guys, if you want to go home early, give your job to someone who cares, you are seriously damaging this business. Bosses: find out what your staff are up to and change them, this is happening all the time. regular customers such as us will not return as this is becoming the norm! We will give it a miss or use the chip van in future 09/09/23 20.03 126965"

"The Golden Fox is consistently good. Each visit has produced an excellent meal and service and the portions are generous and well presented. The mushroom stroganoff and gammon steak are particularly good! Staff are extremely courteous both on the phone when booking and in person....Wouldn't hesitate to recommend The Golden Fox."

"Tried to order.. Chicken balls w’ curry sauce £5.50 2 X peking soup £6.20 Chips £2.20 £13.90 £1 delivery £14.90 total as the menu states I was asked for £15.90 over the phone and I would’ve dropped it but I only had £15.03 in the account so I was working to the penny.. I asked if I could possibly just pay £15 for the food itself as it’s £15 for free delivery and I’m only 0.9 miles away. This was clearly to much to ask for. Quality service"
